    Pros +

    • The bungalow was great, clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and the area was very peaceful. The staff was kind and helpful. We loved the dogs, super cute and friendly. The accomodation is conveniently close to San Marino.
    • Well equipped bungalow, warm, parking next to it
    • I was upgraded to a room with a kitchen. The receptionist spoke excellent English. Parking on site. Close to San Marino!

    Cons -

    • The bathroom of the bungalow was located in the suite, so the person staying in the other room had to go through our berdroom to use the bathroom.
    • Some bugs in the apartment (see the attached photo). They were harmless though.
    • The room was full of shield beetles (stinkbugs) that kept buzzing around the room. All night I had to keep getting up to catch them! I caught and threw out almost 50! No view from the room, as the window was at ceiling level. The front door handle fell off - the receptionist said that nothing could be done until I'd left! I got the impression nothing would be done! The price was way too high for the hassle and the room.

It's a gorgeous, gorgeous little place. The staff are amazing - so welcoming, friendly and helpful! The pools and playground were great for our kids aged 8 and 9. The food was excellent! Perfect little cabin/bungalow with aircon, spotlessly clean. We LOVED it! Grazie mille, la famiglia Caputo ❤️

That we only had one night there!

Close to San Marino, with very friendly staff, good food in the restaurant, ample free parking, and a really comfortable bungalow.

The pool was very busy (many young children) so we had to give that a miss.

Stayed as a group of 4 scouts. Property is in lovely area. We travelled by bus and there was an uphill walk from bus stop to property. So if you are travelling with lots of bags need to consider if this is the best mode of transport for you. Once at the property the accommodation was great and had everything you needed for a self catered trip. Room overall was lovely and the host were very friendly and accommodating given that we arrived late to check-in.

Initially I adored this propertyl. The location is just beautiful and the bungalow is exceptional - such a treat and it felt like the perfect place for a night's stay of peace and rest after much travelling. However my initial opinion was soon to be reversed. The reason for my low mark was due to one member of staff and because of her terrible manner brought down my rating to this property to one where I will never visit again.

I chose Freelandia primarily due to the location as I was travelling for a convention I had in a nearby park the following morning. When I asked the owner Luca the evening before about ordering a taxi he explained it would be costly as the taxis would charge not for an 8 minute car ride which is what it was but from the nearby town Rimini or Riccione meaning a hefty fare. Luca very kindly said to speak to Silvia (another manager I presume) the following morning as he would discuss with her of one of them giving me a lift to the venue. The following morning on speaking to Silvia her manner was dismissive, rude and abrupt. She knew nothing of this and very clearly said they are not running a shuttle service and as it was breakfast not a chance could they assist in any way. There were 3 young workers rather idle at the bar upon which I asked if one of them could help me (I would give them 10 euros for the favour) - they said they would ask but she flat out said no. They forlornly apologized and said they would have if they could. Silvia would not allow them even though it would have been less than 20 minutes return ride for them. I was left to my own devices with a suitcase to tackle a precarious steep bendy road in the blistering heat with a walk that would take easily an hour. I was desperate to the extent that I hitched a lift on the way as thankfully a kind passer by assisted.Silvia's manner and rudeness has guaranteed I will never step foot in Freelandia again. Such a turn around from the evening before when I assumed this was a perfect venue. Her lack of kindness has lost them future business as I am a frequent traveller and having worked in hospitality know the importance of customer service and good manners. She displays none of those qualities.

Lovely location - beautiful scenery, quiet. Clean, nicely furnished property Lovely friendly owner. Unique resort with lots to explore. Pools looked small but nice, unfortunately we couldn’t use them due to bad weather which was a shame and the main reason we booked. We were only there for a night, would’ve liked to stay another.

Sound insulation was terrible - could hear everything next door was saying and even someone snoring! Was very wary of my daughter on the top bunk because the rail wasn’t secure. We also didn’t have a fifth chair to sit down at the table. The horses had some conditions which was not pleasant to see.

Great location and value for money2 swimming pools for children. Children had fun also interacting with animals there (goats, donkeys, horses)Nice bar and restaurantAwesome staff

On day 1 the air conditioning was not working properly, we asked for maintenance in the afternoon and we needed to follow up late at night because maintenance had not been done yet. However, the staff was nice and the air conditioning worked well from that moment onwards

All in all it is a good cozy place with aircondition and daily cleaning and a nice kitchen in a beautiful area.Good room with a nice tv, very clean and new furniture.

A bit too rural no supermarkets in the area. The place is all in all good but there are definitely things to improve because there is a lot of potential. The rooms are a bit too dark - need more natural light if possible. The place needs quite a bit of maintenance, it kinda seems neglected and messy with things falling apart, lights not working, weeds in between the tiles, furniture, and laundry containers standing all over the place right in front of our bungalow, which is a bit of an eye-sore.The kitchen was the big reason for booking this place, but there was some essential equipment missing link scissors and a bread knife - our knife was completely destroyed and not unusable. The whole part with the animals is not necessary, in fact, it does not look like the animals are well taken care of, I would suggest just getting rid of that part. The lights in the pergola area are super cozy, but a pity that it is not turned on every evening - we only saw them once when we first came, when there was an event.

It was our fourth stay in this place and as always it was exceptional. A lovely located and decorated valley, cleaned every day. Comfortable bar between two pools. Very nice people.

We like the trattoria with the animals but we noticed they are a bit neglected - could be better taken care of.

We enjoyed a Family Bungalow that was bigger than expected and quite comfortable, with the possibility to cook ( we did not use it). The place has a small pool, great for the warm days we enjoyed in the area. It also has an area for kids to play. The food is abundant and good, so we actually recommend you avoid half board and you book for the restaurant as you arrive, particularly if you have small kids.

Beautiful area and very close to the Adria coast and San Marino. The Staff was very nice.

The shower was not very nice. Some of it was damaged and not totally clean. There were still some spiders/ spiderwebs. Did not like the breakfast. Only pastries and cake. No fresh fruits or anything else like that.

    4CharalamposPosted on: 8-17-2025

The ants. Also the fact that it wasn't a real room with walls, but some sort of construction with fabric walls covered in insulation panels.

The staff was extremely helpful and generous. It was lovely to be surrounded with nature.
