The attention to detail by staff, the warm welcome and small surprises along the way. Castelfalfi is beautifully decorated, very inviting, a feast for the eyes. Breakfast was fantastic, cocktails in the lounge before dinner were great. The singers in the lounge and dining area sang beautifully, authentic live entertainment. Dinner menu and food fabulous, the staff very attentive, always ensuring everything was perfect. The gardens superbly maintained, the views everywhere were magical. The pools looked very inviting, other guests taking advantage of the heated pool and views. We loved the little shops, lovely products. We're taking home some purchases to remind us of this memorable stay. Every moment at Castelfalfi was worth it.

This property was absolutely magnificent. Staff was outstanding with all of our needs. The beds were superior. Amenities were beyond many properties that we visited. Huge breakfast buffet complementary with your room. We took advantage of massage and aromatherapy. Fantastic wonderful spa amenities and pools, etc. restaurant service and food was equivalent to fine dining. I would definitely return. Enjoy!

The hotel is absolutely fantastic. Great views, amazing facilities and staff that was top notch.

The biggest issue is the location itself which is over an hour from Florence making it difficult to get to. But def worth the trip.

Almost everything

The leakage in the room, which I think was because of the heating system, did not make me go to sleep. It was like Chinese torture, a drop in every 20 seconds.

Everything is spotless. High class 5 star hotel meant for people who appreciate top service. The view from the pool is one of the best in Tuscany.

Sometimes, the maids made more noise than necessary during the day.

The place is just stunning. It was our 2’d summer here and the property is fantastic, the amenities are great, the restaurants are good, the staff is helpful.

It is a bit of a drive to get there but worth it

The staff were brilliant. They catered to our every need. The backdrop and sights were like something out of a dream. The spa facilities were excellent as was the food. Despite being a premium resort, I really felt it was good value for money. We will be coming back for sure.

Two things, travel to the property and golfing. It was initially challenging for us to get to the resort - with the only suggestion from the hotel being for us to purchase a €170 premium transfer after we had already purchased train travel from Rome to the closest train station 20 minutes away. We did some searching ourselves and a local driver named Bagio drove us for €80. When we informed the hotel about our grievance, they quickly rectified and offered us complimentary return on the way home - we were satisfied with this. There was also some confusion regarding golfing at the resort. We were told we could play golf, but when we arrived at the course were told we could not play unless we held a handicap card.

Everything was wonderful. The staff are fantastic. We were especially delighted with the fact that the restaurant was open, with a lovely menu, at 2am when we returned from a concert.This was service "above and beyond!"

The scenery at this hotel is breathtaking! The staff was super welcoming and helpful & the ambiance is very relaxing & charming! Only inconvenience is that the nice pool is inside the spa, no food or drinks allowed there.. the big main pool has not much scenery, we stayed at the spa pool which was beautiful but would've been great if they offered food or drinks there! Highly recommended hotel & dont forget to walk towards the little castelfalfi town 2 minutes from the hotel & enjoy the mountain scenery!

Spa Restaurants activities for all ages

The most incredible hotel/utopia! Castelfalfi is like it’s own little village with a hotel in the middle, there’s a restaurant a short walk away, a wine bar, shops and pizza shop. In the main hotel there’s a restaurant, spa, indoor pool, outdoor pool, bar, kids club (provide lunch for the kids). It’s truly the most incredible property, there’s a winery and golf course with golf club nearby. The golf club have amazing food and the course itself my husband enjoyed playing! The kids club is a two story building full of interactive toys and staffed with caring educators, there is an outdoor playground where the kids play, you can use the kids club from 10am-7pm. They provided lunch for the girls each day and dinner at our request at 5pm. Our girls loved it. The most incredible service and the staff make this place. Shout out to Benjamin, Bradley, Gemma, Beatrice & Eliza & all the incredible housekeeping staff.

We loved our stay at Castelfalfi. It was everything we wanted from the Tuscan countryside. The entire staff was very attentive and kind. The property was very scenic and there were an array of different activities and experiences so you can never get bored.
