Love the beach and the all inclusive food is nice! Pool is very fun and the slides are great.

Communication between the staff is bad, and they dont tell the guests what they need to do. We waited a long time for our bags, and I had to wall back and ask several people. Also many workers will tell you something then not do it. They never tell you you have to go from check in and then twll the bellhop that they need to take your bags, even then you have to convince them.This is not a 4 star hotel.I spent a-lot of time making sure an anniversary surprise was set up for my wife. The hotel stafff assured me massage was booked and a special celebration desert would be served at a special dinner.My wife went and there was no massage booked, and they did not remember the surprise.They called me later and told its was my fault that I didnt tell the restaurant staff that I wanted the surprise and they wanted me to get out of bed and get the stuff they made cause they have to charge me for it. I refused and they dropped the issue.

Overall I thought from the pictures and description we were staying at a high quality resort. This pls vid geared only towards children and you should advertise that way. My kids are older and this was not relaxing, loud music kids screaming everywhere, dirty diaper floats in the pool, the food was horrible and there was no air conditioning. I called three times to fix it. No blankets? No decorations the hotel is a bad dorm room at best. The beds were so uncomfortable I didn’t sleep for two nights.

Staff friendliness and a big clean pool. Beach is walking distance from the hotel.

There was a lot of stuff, drinks were given out fast, food was ok. big menu at the beach.

The room needed renovation, the bathroom was very old and the shower was broken. You needed your towels to go to the pools.Sports equipment (needed to be rented) was old and broken, the stuff was not helpful in this..

My daughter enjoyed the pool and trampoline. Hotel had beach access

1-mass production of food of unsatisfactory quality2- paid high prices for low service- this was a self service hotel, have to squeeze own juices, otherwise drinks on taps were concentrated. AI is not worth it here.3-waited ages more than 25mins for garlic bread for my daughter. After my wait men at pizza oven said "no more." This was at 9:25 after waiting 25mins, and dinner ended 10:00pm. Not sure if men at pizza oven were racist. They were happy talking and accomodating customers before me. My husband received similar response previous day

Beautiful stay. Plenty of options for children to stay busy. The property is well maintained and staff were very efficient. Would highly recommend for families.

everything was excellent

I liked the place, the tranquility, the varied food, the helpful staff, the cleanliness of the outside environment.

The only thing I didn't like was not changing the bed sheets.

It just has an amazing swimming pool. It's very clean water and even when there is a lot of people in the hotel, you don't see this mass while swimming.(that's how large the pool is) I loved the feeling to always have a free chair and also a dining table. There are enough activities for the kids. Respect for the staff. They do an outstanding job of keeping everything clean and all visitors satisfied.

We enjoyed our stay at Falkensteiner Calabria with our 2 year old son. The resort is beautiful and very well taken care of. Very welcoming and friendly stuff, excellent services and facilities for kids, good food, great animation program by Andrea and live music by Mario. We will return :)

Superb location, great outdoor facilities, particularly the swimming pool and the near private beach with restaurant was fantastic.

Rooms need bringing up to 2023 standards. Feel a bit dated. Very clean however.

The swimming pool area is undoubtedly amazing.

It was truly disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. Check in was 3pm but you are required to go through a pre-check in process. There is no organisation to this, with people pushing in front of others. This could have easily been avoided by setting up queues. It took 1 hour to get to the start of the chaos, where they couldn't find our information. We were eventually sent inside to "check in" and were told that our room wasn't ready and we would need to wait 15 mins. It was a 30+ degree celsius day, we've already waited one hour outside, it was an hour after check in and it still wasn't ready. Half an hour passed and we enquired again. We were hot and bothered but we also spent a lot of money to enjoy the facilities and so far had spent 90mins standing around. We were then informed that they did not know when our room would be ready but we should go through and use the pool.After spending so long in the heat we went to the bar to get some water only to find there were no paper cups left for drinks. We asked the bartender who got annoyed with us because apparently we were meant to have a bottle from check in, which we clearly didn't receive (or know about) as we didn't have a room. We didn't receive our room until after 6pm. This was extremely disappointing. Once we did get to the room, we had no soap or shampoo in the dispensers, the aircon didn't work and the bar fridge didn't work. We have no idea why it took so long to the prepare the room. Meals are all inclusive, once again with no forms of queues or organisation people are pushing in front of each other and dropping food on the floor and the staff just walk by it. Be prepared to fight for your food in the buffet or you will miss out.Such a beautiful place with so much potential but a little organisation would go a long way.

Excellent for families

The room key didn’t work and had to be changed daily, sometimes twice a dayOn arrival the key only opened the room next door not ours, this soon became frustrating as the only way to get it changed was to walk to reception which was not close to accommodation

We were happy with sports entertiment so kids can play fotbool and Ping pong and reallly enjoy it

It was like in a war at 9.00 am breakfast waiting for a croasant and also for a normal coffe we wait about 15 minutes. In a swimming pool no empty umbrellas after 9:30am. They told me in a reception manager will give you a call about dinner in a grill restaurant and 3 days Nobody call tipical there. To long distance from the beach to the sea for kids

Great location, facilities and of course the food! Staff were really helpful and always happy to help.

A slight lack of English speaking staff and families made some communication strained. Certainly wasn't the end of the world though!

Beautiful property, clean and huge pool

AC in room was crap. Really didn’t work. Language barrier for English speaking made it hard. Food was good but limited. Nothing like Caribbean all-inclusive resorts.

Pool was great, food was pretty good for buffet and place was very clean.

We had no air conditioning in our room. It was blowing warm air all night and it was turned all the way down. When we called to ask front desk to send someone to fix it, they didn't understand English at all. When it was time to check out they said we owe money for pool towels they gave us at check I. With no mention of cost. For $500 a night I was not paying to use a pool towel.

Bice accommodation, good food, lots of bars and swimming pools were great

Very little to do for the teenagers in the evenings, very basic English language skills from most staff, which made getting gluten free food challenging, which ultimately led to a trip to the on site doctor.
