Pros +
- So we were helped at check-in by a lovely young lady by the name of Lucy. She helped the woman on check-in who didn't speak any English. Secure Bike storage was provided in the bowling alley. The initial room was unacceptable due to the bed arrangement but this was rectified quickly and professionally. The new room was much bigger.. Basic but clean. Also it was nice and quiet. There was a fridge but no kettle or coffee. The towel drying rack in the bathroom actually worked really well. Our room was in the same building as the restaurant. Ongoing theme for us, no elevator. There is also a really nice sauna that someone really enjoyed. The initial meeting with the waitress was a challenge. She soon warmed up to us and we experienced a really good meal of local cuisine. Beautiful little village up in the hills. Quite scenic.

- This was a wellness spa hotel but the facilities were not included in the price as expected. The facilities are only open for a limited time and close early on Sunday on the day we stayed. We chose this hotel specifically for their spa facilities. So we paid extra for a spa that only lasted 55 minutes and no chance of any treatments. It would be good to put this information in the description to avoid disappointment.
