There are also many restaurants and bars within a short walk. By metro, the Vera Cruz Hotel is 30 minutes from the Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport and by car, it is a 15-minute drive away.

- The room was old, with old f5urniture and cramped. the small refrigerator was horrible as was the 12" TV. The chair was too low for the desk height. I had to put pillows on the chair to be at the proper height of the desk. After flying 3,500 miles from CA, this was a disappointment. The staff was good. They even offered me a different room for $25.00 more per night, but it wasn't worth it. The pictures on the website showed the room are bright, airy and wiith modern furniture. It was just the opposite. They need to remodel the place or show accurate pictures of the entire place. Finally, their printed material said they they would charge one-half days rent if you washed clothes in the bathroom. What a joke.
