Hotel Desiree offers accommodations on the cliffs above Sorrento, and is less than 1.2 mi from the town center. It features stunning views of the Gulf of Naples. Clean, quiet and spacious rooms offer views of the Desiree's gardens or the sea. Some of them have a balcony. The hotel features a panoramic terrace and bar. Cliff-top Hotel Desiree has its own bay and there is a elevator which will allow you to reach its free private beach. Shops and restaurants are easily reachable on foot. Buses stopping near the hotel will bring you to the harbor. Staff at the Desiree are friendly and welcoming and will be delighted to book you tours or give you tourist information about the area as well as walking itineraries.

- I loved the view!
- Location was amazing. Short walking distance to center city. View of the sea from our balcony.
- Staff were knowledgable and helpful, with recommendations for side trips. I spent four nights at t0he hotel and enjoyed having it as my home baseÃÂ for trips to the Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, and Capri. The view from this hotel cannot be beat!
Cons -
- My husband didn¿t like the location as there was a lot of walking.
- No elevator¿ so big luggage was difficult up and down several flights.
- Nothing.
