Beautiful location, crisp built environment, very helpful reception, reference design on bathroom of minimal space. EV charging (at moderate cost!).

No a/c but window opened wide and fitted with a functional insect gauze.

Most of the staff super friendly! Especially outside restaurant.

No coffee and tea facilities in room, main restaurant in hotel closed for both days of our stay. No WiFi for guests in the other restaurant. No other f&b outlets in the hotel. No drinks available at night, reception could have had some sort selection.

Ideal location for what I needed (visiting Colditz Castle). The staff were friendly and the hotel had a good atmosphere.

No secure parking for my motorcycle but it seemed safe enough with a lock and chain.

Very nice hotel. Rooms comfortable and spacious. We arrived on a Sunday, so the hotel restaurant was not open, but their sister hotel was only a 10-minute walk and the food was amazing. Would definitely stop again if in the area.

This is in a wonderful location for peace and quiet. It also has some lovely history nearby. It was pretty easy to find and had good parking. The staff were helpful and booked us a table at their sister restaurant which was nice. The breakfast was comprehensive.

It’s definitely out of the way. Otherwise lovely.

We enjoyed the sauna, the beautiful nature and we got to meet their adorable cat.

Our only complaint was that the room didn't have a small refrigerator.

Breakfast was very good…the dining room was closed on the Sunday but a short walk into the village took me to a restaurant booked and recommended by the hotel….excellent choice…overall after a heavy days travelling….this hotel was calm, very clean and super efficient

lovely hotel in a great location

we arrived to no restaurant facilities. it was closed. if we wanted to eat we had to walk 1/2 mile down a road to another place in 30 degree heat. The only Hotel bar closed at 7pm

Beautiful location, quiet, a bit isolated even. Green, surrounded by nature- perfect place to recharge. The food is always fantastic (Both in the hotel restaurant but also the restaurant at Gasthaus "Zur Wassermühle", where we were directed to, since the hotel restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays).The rooms are nice, very clean. Comfortable beds on a firmer side. Highly recommend.

Excellent hotel, comfy beds, and generous breakfast. It was a little overpriced though, also given the fact there were many ladybirds and other insects in our room when we arrived.

We liked everything. The rooms are nice and clean, the hotel is really cozy and the attention to detail is astounding- surrounded by history in a modern way. The staff is very pleasant and polite, and the food delicious.Quiet, beautiful location right at the river. Big parking lot.We will be coming back for sure.

Everything was perfect. I can fully recommend it for everyone.

The room was nice and well equipped, the hotel kitchen is very good, the surroundings is nice for bike, walking.

The bedroom of the room was located directly above the cooling equipment of the kitchen, which operated 24 hours. The equipment is very noisy was heard even through closed windows (the room was not equipped with air conditioning). According to the staff, the equipment must work continuously. We almost didn't sleep.
