Pros +
- location.
- I like hotels with character. This hotel has it. The food was good , breakfast good, and the location excellent for travel to Strausberg. The staff were helpful and friendly. There are plenty of good restaraunts also in the local area and a badstrand beach directly opposite. Beer garden was excellent
- Great location, opposite the main beach in Buckow and a short walk into the town. Beds were comfortable.
Cons -
- Much to tell Room floor was very dirty so much that you needed to wear shoes or your feet got dirty in the main room after a shower! Shower doors broken and broken fan and no bathroom light only a dim blue/white mirror light. Blinds also broken in the room. towels not replaced and beds not made each day or any for of clean. Bar and hotel loby seemed to be close at what ever time they decided. and one morning no breakfast possible at 8am.... not opened ?? One night no bar at all and the next only till 8 or 9pm.
- Next door there is some building work going on. It didnt really impact on sleeping or anything and was not loud but you are conscious it is there as they are digging very near the hotel
- The common areas (terrace, restaurant, corridors) are shabby and need updating. Even a lick of paint would do. The curtains in the room were insubstantial, letting in light; this means we all woke up very early on the morning.
