A wonderful surprise, Schloss Harkensee is a unique manor house, filled with eclectic art by the very personal and amiable owners, we would definitely hope to stay here again.The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and clean, the grounds are well kept and the "beach bar" is a blast.
So peaceful! Also amazingly beautiful building and premises. We were warmly welcomed. Specialmention for the bed, which was super comfy!
Very nice Schloss (castle) with a flashy entrance and a big garden.Staff are soooo friendly. Each room has a concept of famous people/rock grops from 70s 80s 90s etc.They have a delicious breakfast. I recommend you to have it there.

The owners were delightful! They were very hospitable and very kind! The room had high ceilings, was spatious, and very comfortable. The owners provided a beautiful breakfast they prepared themselves, along with fabulous coffee. The entire manor/estate was nicely decorated with musical flare/accents. There was a lovely garden and a fun Beach Club area (with sand and beach gear) where one could enjoy a variety of beverages. I would definitely stay there, again!
I liked everything about the property/hotel. The only thing I can think of is that one has to drive "off the beaten path" to get there. It is worth the drive to get there - just give yourself a bit of time and be patient if your gps takes you on the long route through the fields, meadows, and small streets of Harkensee.

Great location, lovely owners and very stylish and unique rooms. Really enjoyed my time there and the sunny spot at the beach bar that they created. Wish I stayed longer .

Unique style of the room, very friendly owners that make you feel comfortable and always welcome throughout your stay, great breakfast. Location itself is a little of grid but this was exactly what we looked for.
