    Pros +

    • The room we had was spotless and had everything we needed, including comfortable bedding and bathroom with shower. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There are shops and a bancomat nearby, so food, drink, and other necessities are nearby.
    • Loved the location. Very close to coffee shop, restaurants, and church, so was able to attend Mass very easily. The hotel is very charming. The hotel, along with the staff and surrounding area felt authentically Italian, not filled with a lot of tourists. We visited because my grandmother was born there, so it was very touching to see where she grew up and the charm of this city.
    • Lovely clean hotel. Nothing too much trouble. Bar next door does fantastic coffee and pastries for breakfast. Location good.

    Cons -

    • This is not a problem with the hotel itself, but the location involves a long walk uphill from the train station. Those arriving by car will of course have no problem, but those arriving by train should arrange for a taxi.
    • The bathroom was small (specifically the shower) compared to what we are normally used to,However, it was very clean and it did meet our needs.
    • Bed a little hard for my liking and bathroom tight for space. Would not put me off staying again.

Convenient distance from Rome airport after long flight & picking up hire car.

    Nothing! Stole my money!

We were scammed! They stole our money without providing accommodation!A few days ago, during a trip to Rome, we planned to stay at this hotel. We booked the stay through Booking.com. Unfortunately, on the day of arrival, it turned out that they wanted to scam us for additional money for checking in at the hotel in person, not online. Unfortunately, when we finally agreed to check in on-site and tried to arrange the details of our arrival, I called the hotel. A lady who didn’t speak any English answered the phone. She said two sentences in Italian and hung up. Subsequent attempts to contact the hotel were constantly rejected. They do not respond to any messages on Booking.com, even those sent through the Booking platform itself. They stole our money and do not want to give it back.

Nice and clean. Efficient friendly staff. Nice balcony.

    Street noise and pollution.

comfy bed, dark room, modern feel. Quiet apart from family with kids making noise arriving at 2.05am. Bar downstairs was great and welcoming. Not many restaurants were open locally. Furniture was cute.

No where near enough plugs. Room was a bit small. Bathroom shaver plug not universal, tea n coffee facilities were not replenished. Other than that it was a comfy stay.

A lovely traditional style hotel, perched up in the centre of the village with far-reaching views. Staff were friendly and accommodating, finding a secure place for me to leave my bike. The rooms are homely and comfortable. I particularly liked the fact that there was a small kettle in the room (not often found in Italian hotels in my experience). The bed was comfortable and everything worked as it should.

    No complaints at all.

We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked this reasonably priced hotel on our way south from Rome. We just needed somewhere to get off the motorway after a long trip. This turned out to be the perfect stop. Our hotel room was spacious, bright, had lovely hand painted furniture, and a view of the valley and hills. It’s about a ten to fifteen minute drive off the motorway.

It is a very "honest" establishment with excellent staff, polite, helpful, with a very positive attitude. The room and common areas exuded a sense of cleanliness. Just in front of the hotel there is free public parking space.

    8SorenPosted on: 11-3-2022

It was easy to find, the room was quiet in the night, the bed was fine, the bathroom was nice.

There was no living room or terrace.

Good for a nights stay…good location in the village and shower pressure was strong.

A bit dated, small shower and very hard bed. Plus small charge for pet was not small, but rather half the cost of the room.

    Good location. Extremely clean.

Grumpy lady in reception. Reception doors locked in the morning (0700hrs so not unreasonably early) when we needed to leave - we ended up getting locked out when trying to load up our bikes. The lady took for ever to come down to let us back in & shouted at us.
