We had booked 4 rooms but as one of our family members has taken ill we only required 3 rooms. On arrival the friendly receptionist assured us that that would be no problem, we could have only 3 rooms. On departure after several days we were charged fully for all four rooms despite the assurance on arrival and despite not getting the 4 rooms.
The staff is very helpful with info, friendly and capable. The breakfast is excellent with a good selection, including local delicacies. The location of the hotel is very good for exploring Hiddensee, other nearby locations that require travel by boat, and visiting Jasmund National Park.
The internet works well only in public areas, i.e., the lobby, the dining room, etc. It also worked in our room, but the signal was very weak. But the hotel tells you this up front.

Restaurant. The property is really a restaurant with a hotel. As the main focus is the restaurant and the accommodation less so. Restaurant meals and service excellent.
Room was a little tired. We stayed 2 nights with temperatures around 30. Room was hot overnight. windows open for ventilation but room was near outside lighting attracting mosquitoes
