The family-run Kapitäns-Häuser Breege are located directly at Breege Harbor on the Baltic Sea island of Rügen, just 1.2 mi from Juliusruh beach. The property also offers extensive sport and wellness facilities. All rooms and apartments at Kapitäns-Häuser Breege are brightly furnished and feature satellite TV. - Room was not ready on time, guests need to take care of the trash alone and ask for new bed towels at the reception, the room is only cleaned if asked at the reception one day in advance.
- The insulation in the rooms was really poor. This meant we had to leave the balcony door open during the evening to get any kind of circulating air into the rooms. The outdoor terrace hadn't and wasn't cleaned so there were a lot of bugs around when we wanted to sit outside or dry our clothes out there. They don't offer a daily cleaning service, if you want that you need to request it extra. With two little kids and going to the beach each day it's important to have a daily cleaning service because of all the sand you're dragging in.

on a frickin’ freezing, windy day we could check-in early. very friendily staff
I loved the brotchen service provided. This is great service. The staff at the reception and restaurant were friendly and on my wife Bday we had free drink at the restaurant. The location is great, with acess to ferry boat and even walking distance to the beach. I recommand it.
I was a little disapointed that there was a daily parking fees.Possibiltiy of improvement : we stay about a week, it will have been nice to have access to a vacccum for a quick clean up of the floor and also access to new toilet paper to avoid to ask at the reception each time.They were few guests when we came ... so it was quiet, this will have to be checked in the summer with many guests.
Apartment was a good size for a small family. Location next to ferrry was nice for a trip to Hiddensee Insel.
Everything was absolutely great, except coffee (it was slightly below average).
Probably the only improvement I'd like to see is a decent coffee machine for breakfast.
