    • As we arrived very late made sure we could get into hotel
    • Ideally located. Low price.
    • Good b'fast. Very quiet. Next to the Rhine River. Spa nearby. Dowtown restaurants in a walkable distance.

    Cons -

    • No guest information in room
    • Staff does not reply to messages and emails at all. Telephone needed 5 calls to get in touch.Entrance not indicated, hidden behind an overgrowing hedge.Urgent gardening needed, overgrowing parking lot. Looks shabby. Not inviting, not maintained.Overall first impression that you are not honestly welcome. At least we didn't. Torn towels. Urgent investments suggested.
    • hard to check in, lobby is in restaurant, no one answered messages, not friendly staff, bathroom was kind of gross, very expensive based on how bad the hotel was.

As an American, I would never stay here again. Check in was very hard even through Google translate, and no one was ever

It was clean and in a lovely location. Pretty town to walk through. Bed was comfortable except for the sheets.

Staff was abrupt, really didn't seem to like that we spoke no German. She, refused to tell us the wifi password - insisted on entering it into our phones herself. Although once you left reception then the wifi dropped in and out so I guess it didn't matter that you couldn't reconnect. The beds had rough sheets made of terry cloth, very uncomfortable so I slept on top of the duvet. We went to eat dinner in the restaurant and were told it was closed even though we could see people at the tables.

    Very good

The fact that the restaurant was closed as was the bar also. We were very disappointed that this hotel was advertised as having a restaurant and bar, had we known that these were closed, we would not have chosen this hotel.

location is excellent for the rhine and town centre also the train station .i was expecting something special for the high price but only b&b .room was big with a balcony but no aircon and it was very hot .breakfast was good in the morning .

when i arrived i could not see reception for a while there is a small intercom next to a door with small writing a proper big sign would be an improvement .no resturant and the promissed rhine vue was almost covered with trees .

perfect location: on the river and next to the spa/ baths. really good mattresses and we loved the style of the dining and breakfast rooms. At checkout we were informed that the hotel underwent a big upgrade. It was wonderful to stay in this family run hotel and so welcome in a world of hotel chains that all offer the same formula.

The hotel is located on the Rhine. The rooms are outdated, but very well maintained and comfortable. The bathroom is comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good for its price.

The reception was particularly unpleasant. Due to Covid 19, all kinds of formalities are required. And everything is in German, we are of course in Germany. Any effort to say anything in English was not made (also the papers are completely in German). We were treated as if we were infected (we have been vaccinated twice). The lady was curt, unhelpful.

The staff was really friendly and really helpful. When I forgot to do a Covid test they offered it for me right there and then.

I would have liked to have a second pillow. I forgot to ask the WLAN Password when I arrived and later noone was at the reception to ask. The ventilator in the bathroom was so loud.
