Landgoed Mennorode

The staff was super friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant - the food was excellent and the space is well designed with nice furniture and design touches. Breakfast was great too. The hotel is set in the middle of a beautiful forest area which we loved

The heating was on in our room when we arrived and even though we turned it off and had the window open all night, the room was too hot for our liking. The beds were good but the pillows very soft, which is a matter of taste of course but we were glad that we brought our own pillows. The bathroom was a bit outdated but very clean and overall we were very comfortable.

The location is amazing, in the middle of the woods. Beautiful! As for the room, it was basic and equipped with all necessary. Nice place to stay for one night.

That the bathroom did not have a basin inside. The bed was too soft and not supportive enough.

The room and breakfast were good value for the money, but I don't think they clean it thoroughly because before we left we looked under the bed to see if we had forgotten anything and found sunglasses, which means they hadn't cleaned it thoroughly under the bed. The staff was friendly but they didn't let us sit in the summer garden and the weather was beautiful and that was only because we were drinking our pialok and we were quiet and didn't mind anyone.

Very friendly staff and a great breakfast in the morning. The location in the forest is also very nice.

Great location, on the edge of the woodland around Paleis Het Loo. Quiet and beautiful.Reception staff warm, friendly and professional. Excellent dinner in the restaurant and great snacks in the lounge bar.

Attitude of some staff: When we arrived at 10.05 for our breakfast we were told by a (senior) staff member that breakfast finished at 10.30. The tone of voice was not customer-friendly.Later in the lounge bar we heard another member of serving staff tell customers that they were too late to order food, when in fact they were within the time.And as we were packing to leave the room cleaning staff knocked and told us that we only had a few more minutes before check out. We knew this and were just leaving. We have never experienced this kind of clock-watching before in a hotel.

Very nice location allowing you to have a walk. Hotel rooms are well equipped and staff is very friendly.

Great location of the hotel, good breakfasts, friendly staff

The rooms provided all we needed, the hotel was situated in a lovely forest location complete with bunnies and the breakfast was excellent! The shower was also great, lovely and hot and quite powerful - providing you realised you need to turn the knob twice in the same direction to get to the most powerful setting. Another feature we appreciated was the Healthy Fridge vending machine, which sold healthy sandwiches, wraps, snacks and drinks.

The mattresses could have been firmer. More than one person in our group found them too soft. We also found having the sink outside the bathroom quite inconvenient. Three other things we would have appreciated are individual switches for the bedside lamps, bedside tables and a bit more floor space to open our suitcases etc. These were all minor issues though and may have been because three of the rooms we booked were budget twin rooms.

Not very silent. I could hear anything from the corridor and the adjacent rooms

The bathroom was good. There was soaps and hair blower but paper tissues was missing. The breakfast was good with lots of different meat cheese eggs breeds fruits etc.

Very friendly staff, nice breakfast and they did seem quite child-friendly. The hotel & room are both somewhat old and it shows, but it was well kept and clean.

The room was very little, they initially forgot our cot-bed and we had to ask for it again, bathroom is very old (faucet wouldn't even mix warm water for you, you still have two faucets).

The rooms are nice and the layout and the location of the hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is sublime and the breakfast is very good as well. Lot's of different types of food to choose from.

The only thing which comes to mind is that the pillows on the bed are very soft. Personally i like a bit more ferm pillow.

Beds were absolutely amazing, really comfortable. Really nice how they accommodate dog owners in a separate area during breakfast. Staff was really friendly and in for a laugh. Dinner was really nice, well balanced and interesting flavours. The location in the woods is also really nice. Overall we had a really nice stay.

It is located in a beautiful nature. The staff was so nice and the rooms were clean. Common areas were also beautiful and usefull.

Rooms were so small and so cold. We tried to heat up but it did not work :(

Our room was a bit budget. Shower in en-suite was a little dated and sad. Bed too soft.
