Hotel Weserschlösschen

It was ok, but do something about the amount of insects.

Too much insects/arachnids. As a guest with arachnophobia, I did not appreciate having to deal with multiple wolf spiders during my stay. And they weren't even useful by the amount of flies in the room. As well as wanting to have a smoke outside and there's a spider on the door handle, no one even bothered to move to safety.

Reception was pleasant but not overly friendly nor helpful . A bit of a language barrier was experienced .Very good inside secure bike shed . Our room #223 was accessible by elevator or stairs. Immediately over the Weser River . Pleasant room . Comfortable bed . No availability of tea nor coffee in room .Dinner at on-site restaurant was good with reasonable price point . Staff there at the restaurant was very pleasant . Breakfast also was quite good with hot and cold choices .

The one chair in our room was really dirty/stained and we covered it with a towel to sit in it . No tea or coffee available in the room .

We had a quiet room towards the river and overlooking the carpark. It was one of the few rooms without a balcony, but the window could be opened to cool the room down. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was great during the night. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the double amount of storage shelves for luggage, enough for all our luggage. Good modern TV with HDMI outlets. Good secure bike storage and charging facilities in a separate locked room in the car park. We walked to all the sights easily from the peaceful location at the edge of the old town, and right on the cycle path.

Friendly staff, cozy rooms, beautiful river views and hearty breakfast. The hotel is not far from Bahnhof and Altstadt, you can walk there

3rd time at this hotel. It was excellent as ever.Good breakfast

Not a reflection of the hotel in any way, but unfortunately, the town on Nienburg is in a slow but noticeable decline.

Lovely location and good restaurant

Room size

Staff were very helpful and always polite and welcoming. The location was perfect for all Nienburg has to offer. The hotel was very clean. A true gem.

Everything was perfect.

Comfortable hotel in an excellent location on the river Weser a short walk from the town centre. An excellent breakfast was included in our room rate, we also used the restaurant which served good food at a reasonable price.

Nothing to dislike

Clean and comfortable room. The location by the river was very pretty but I didn't have time to enjoy it on this trip. The staff were very helpful, at reception as well as the restaurant.

Some rooms overlook the river or gardens but mine overlooked the car park. I couldn't get the shower to run hot, even at full setting.

Soft beds, decent breakfast, location

Just a warning : the water in the shower can be scalding hot (almost burned my shoulders and back) if you unintentionally move the tap, which in the tiny environment of the shower is not hard to do!

Lovely quiet location with a nicely equipped room. Very scenic restaurant next to the river and the breakfast was very good.

The bed was fine but a smaller pillow would have suited us better, or a smaller and bigger one !Whilst the river was very scenic, the noise in the room from the rushing water sounded like an old fashioned aircon unit. We had to keep the window open due to the very warm conditions.

The hotel was very well situated and had a gym and a sauna which one can use free of charge. The staff were really nice and helpful. There are also parking places which can be used if the parking is not full.

Perfect place, very nice and helpfull stuff. We came with a dog and needed a cooler for dog food - they solved our problem in a minute. Thank You!

Breakfast was very good and location of hotel is great

Room a bit small for the price (100 euros) which e.g. didn't even have 2 chairs. Bathroom very small and not comfortable at all for the price when measured against other places that we stayed. There were also no mats on each side of the bed

The hotel is located on the Weser River within easy walking distance to the center of town. The rooms are modern and the beds comfortable. While the bathroom was small it had all the amenities. A small balcony allows two people to sit comfortably. There is secure bicycle storage for cyclists.

Good food at the restaurant. The staff very nice and helpful, even that we didn't spoke german. The room was very clean and the bed comfy.

The old town is less than 5 minute walk. Limited free public carspots from 6PM till 8AM in front of the hotel. Modern room, good bathroom, friendly staff especially the lady at breakfast. Floor heating in the bathroom is the best

Room is rather small, but has all you need and enough space to put away a trolley and your clothes
