Hotel de Vooroever is located in West Friesland between the IJsselmeer Lake and Grote Vliet Lake. The surrounding area is ideal for fishing, walking and cycling tours along the water. All of the rooms at this family-run hotel are simple yet functional with free Wi-Fi, cable TV and extra long beds. Some rooms have a balcony with a view of the Grote Vliet Nature Reserve. The village of Medemblik is less than 10 minutes drive from the hotel. Hotel De Vooroever is located a 11 mi from Hoorn and 7.5 mi from Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is just over 50 minutes away by car. Guests can make use of the spacious terrace with barbecue facilities. The hotel offers a bicycle rental service and has an own quay. Fishing equipment, canoes and motor boats are for rent.

- All what we needed and we could arrange snacks for our fishing trip
- Good value for budget. Staff was nice and friendly. Location is perfect if yu are on a bike tour
