Pros +
- This property was convenient, as it was close to where I had to go the following morning to pick up my cuckoo clock. I chose this property as it was convenient for my bags, as there was an elevator. Room was nice and quiet. Self checkin was good.
- Great location , very organized the rooms where nice and comfortable
- Location was great, hotel was clean and comfortable. Very affordable. You can buy snacks from machine.
Cons -
- I think Mr. Schneider needs to pay more attention to his guests. My room was very cold for almost the entire evening, as the radiators (in room and bathroom) took time to heat up. Or so he said. By the time I was sleeping, the room was finally comfortable, not too hot and not too cold. I told Mr. Schneider about this earlier, and I had to be the only guest there, and rather than stop in and see for himself, he left me space heater outside my door which in the end didn’t work. At breakfast time, as I prepared to go to a bakery for take away, luckily he got off the elevator as I was about to get in—so totally by chance, and told me the bakery was closed on Mondays. But instead of telling me about the nearby Cafe Moosi, where I ultimately went for breakfast, he told me I would have to go to Triberg, which is too far for take away, down a winding road which you don’t want to do. Had he mentioned Moosi, he could have also given me more precise directions. My GPS failed me, due to the address not being clear, and when I found it online, I could no longer even find Mr. Schneider to ask him about it. And so, I got lost. But luckily (I have good German) a woman getting into her car let me follow her to the Cafe Moosi, on a street I knew from my previous stay in Schonach. Long story—I would avoid this place and find somewhere where the host takes more interest in his or her guests. This guy just did not. He was nice, but not terribly helpful in the end.
- No breakfast, restaurant only available on certain days and times
- Apartment lovely but nowhere to place or hang clothes in the bathroom. No chairs to relax in for reading only the bed or bench in kitchen part.Needed a table near the mirror in bedroom when makeup or drying hair just to have things to hand.

Super studio apartment which was well looked after and gave us lots of space. Location opposite the park was fantastic.
The apartment was beautiful, well decorated, calm but bright loved the green colour choice.Quiet location not far from town or restaurants.Friendly and helpful welcome.

It was exactly what I was looking for, good facilities and good price with an excellent host in Ralph.
Traditional wood carvings and the bar and restaurant which were open both nights
Disclaimer: I cannot judge every single room in the property, so below are my experience with the family suit which I found mindblowing. All utilities are as good as new and extremely clean. Nice furniture, good shower and comfy beds. Spatious. Quiet (september). Parking space 15m away.
Out of season (I visited in September) most restaurants are closed, and it is close to impossible to eat without a reservation, which limits your flexibility (e.g. you can never be sure when you're done with your hiking trail). Long story shot, either reserve a table or make sure you have some food with you (the family suit has an excellent kitchen equipped with utensils).
lovely apartment, great recommendation for dinner over the road
bed a bit hard
Visiting the Triberg area and staying at Hotel Rebstock in Schonach was ideal. The 3 bedroom apartment was great value and perfectly located. The decor was super interesting and of very high quality. The living room and kitchen were well laid out and very well equipped. The beds were comfy and the shower made the stay feel very resort like.
This was a fabulous apartment - really well appointed, super comfy beds, great lighting. Loved it.
There was nobody around. It was like a ghost town, both inside and outside the apartment. We cut short our stay.
The place was nice and clean. It's much nicer to share an apartment that having seperate hotel rooms if you're travelling with family members. This place has a nice living room and kitchen to spend your time in the apartment.
I especially picked this location as it has an elevator and I was travelling with my 80 year old parents that are not that mobile anymore. However, what was not clear from the description is that you would first need to climb 15 steps up to the entrance to use the elevator. This rather defeats the benefits of the elevator.Secondly, the bunk beds are child size. With my height of 182cm, I was stuck between the boards of the bed. This was not mentioned in the description and made it more difficult to sleep well. And finally, the restaurant of the hotel is only open for lunch on selected days. This was also not clear from the description as we had hoped to use the restaurant for breakfast and/or dinner
Location was amazing and view was everything I expected.staff was extremely helpful and friendly
Apartment was clean and well equipped
