Pros +
- Incredibly friendly and helpful employees, along with a variety of breakfast options. The room was spacious, it had a cute and exquisite European country style interior, and the view looking out from it was also good.
- very friendly staff, great room and pool, good breakfast
- Everybody was very friendly. It’s a good landhaus type hotel. Nothing is really available in walking distance, the village is far and unsignificant. However by car you can reach a lot of things in a short time.
Cons -
- The pillow was a bit too flat, and the mattress kinda of sank in. The comforter could be thicker, or put a spare one in the closet. It got cold before sunrise since the guesthouse was located in a mountain area. A few bugs could get into the room through the windows at night, but I was not afraid of bugs so it was okay with me...haha.

Wow, I cannot fully express how amazing our stay was for our family of 4 with two little ones smaller than 5. We don’t speak a word of German but the front desk staff was fluent in English which saved us. The rooms, view, and pool were amazing but the water pressure has us feeling like we’ve been missing out on life. I could uproot my life to live with that water pressure. Hotel was extremely clean, staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The town and scenery were gorgeous, even in late November. Hope this hotel gets the recognition it deserves because it’s the best we’ve ever stayed at!
Owners and staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was good with a different hot egg option each morning and good variety of other foods.Dinner was very good, but a bit pricey.Robes and towels for the pool were very convenient to have included in the room.
Location, e-bikes, pool, outside dining, great breakfast, rural environment, owners and staff
Lots of dogs; not always friendly.
Perfect host, spotless room, good food in restaurant,Location is convenient for hiking!
Very nice modern facility and wonderful location. Nice varied assortment for breakfast.
The walls of the rooms were a bit thin ...... you could hear almost everything going on in the room next door. The manager could also be a bit more friendly...... very stiff business like.
Nice location with parking on siteLovely terrace outside our room with stunning viewImmaculate and spacious room (we had a deluxe double)Access to pool and sauna was a nice treat at the end of a long day of hiking!Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of optionsStaff were friendly and helpful at all timesDinner at the on-site restaurant was very tasty with good range of wine options
Pillows too soft for my partner (although this seems to be common travelling through Germany)Lack of drinks making facilities in the roomWe would have loved to have made use of the sauna in the morning before checking out but unfortunately it was not switched on
Really beautyful location where you can hike on marked trails directly from the hotel. Both for beginners and advanced.
The room was spacious and well decorated and recently renovated.
The room was nicely appointed and very clean and spacious. The location is pretty and quiet and near to the village.
Our main complaint is that one of the main reasons we chose the hotel was that we wanted somewhere to relax and have dinner after an 8 hour drive from the Dolomites. The restaurant is shown as open on the Booking.com website but while we were out of internet contact in the mountains we were sent emails from the hotel to say they only had a snack menu available. By the time we were back on the internet we had passed the cancellation date. We requested the snack menu which was short and the dishes were more than snacks and we were told we had to make our choices immediately ie while we were driving from the Dolomites. We requested and were sent an English translation which gave an outline idea of the dishes. Unfortuntately we are not familiar with German food so had to make our choices not knowing how hungry we would be or quite what we were ordering. On arrival at the hotel at around 6.30pm we said we wanted to eat at 7.30 but were asked to eat at 7.00 as we were the only people in the restaurant. This was not the evening we had planned after a long journey. Many hotels show when their restaurants are closed during off peak times and we chose this hotel because their restaurant was open. The food was ok but sitting in a half dark restaurant with no other guests eating too early isn't what we had planned. I would have told the owner/manager if he had been present in the morning when we left rather than leaving negative feed back.
The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, stylish modern room, large balcony, views of the hills
The mattress was too soft for us.
swimming pool, views into nature, food, family atmosphere
wifi Slow and Bad telephone reception, jet stream not working in swimming pool
It is a beautiful property set in a majestic landscape. The room was beautiful with an extraordinary view of the valley below. Our room was modern and very clean with a lovely balcony to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer. The pool facilities were great and the hotel lets you “book” 30 minute slots for the pool (due to Covid), however, this worked perfectly for us, as it made it feel as if it was our own private pool area. Finally, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short or long stay.
Good size bright rooms with balcony. Helpful friendly owners and staff.
Restaurant to be open more often with wider menu choice, but found nearby alternatives of good standard.
Very beautiful location and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff is very friendly and we had a nice dinner
great location in middle of münstertalgood restaurant friendly staff
hotel and rooms are dated but cleanprice too expensive for offering
Amazing landscapes and perfect food. Very friendly owners.
Nothing to write.
Breakfast, dinner and friendliness of staff
bathroom well equipped but toilet very low making it difficult for people with a disability.
