- Fantastic location in the center of historic town near the middle-aged stone wall and trees. Very quiet location. The whole city is walkable from here. Exclusive protected parking. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful when I replaced my key. Very clean room with traditional wood furnishing. Mattress is comfortable with clean cotton linen. Will definitel return to same place for future visits.

There was also a full sized bathtub in our room, which was very nice.

- This is not at all a criticism of the staff or the Altstadthotel itself, but I must note that due to severe flooding about two months before our stay, the biergarten/restaurant located in the hotel was closed. We were not aware of this fact and were sad we did not get to experience it, because it looked wonderful! Aside from this one disappointment - which can only be blamed on an unavoidable natural disaster - our stay was very pleasant.
- the lady who greeted me was disturbed by the fact that the key self-retrieval system did not work and blamed me for having blocked/broken it. He behaved aggressively and offensively.

Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Location of hotel was very central . Staff were friendly also.
There is no tea and coffee facilities within the room which was disappointing.
