Quick and excellent communication in app. Very friendly and forthcoming staff. Great , quiet location in woods. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of things and good quality items. Very delicious gluten free bread rolls available (need to request beforehand). Breakfast room spacious and elegant, with options to sit outside. Very dog friendly. Free parking. Comfy beds , room was spacious enough. Nicely themed and well thought out hotel. Definitely would visit again.

Excellent location, friendly staff, exceptional food!

The beds were nice. The receptionist very serviceminded and so was the waitress at the dinner. The possibility to walk the dogs.

The room had an unplesant smell. Stairways. The dinner was expensive and not worth the price. We had lamb and it was tough. At breakfast the waiter was extremely stressed and rude.

Wonderful location, beautiful grounds, comfortable room, restaurant and breakfast very good.

Comforter was too heavy and mattress was conducive to sweating, bathroom mirror is placed too high and thus for me (163cm) useless.

Very comfortable hotel with a good restaurant located in an amazing natural resort.

Ample free parking, electric chargers available and easy to use. Food is so good - both dinner and breakfast. Location is in a forest and surrounded by nature. Big playground for kids. Everything is treated with care.

Wonderful location, so peaceful and quiet! Very helpful and responsive personnel, good breakfast with tasty homemade jams. Unfortunately we stayed only one night and couldn’t enjoy the surroundings but we would definetely like to come back here one day!

Extraordinary location in the middle of the beautiful Lüneburger Heide. The food is really good (breakfast and dinner). For having a relaxed stay in the nature it's perfect.

The hotel was in a beautiful peaceful setting and the room was lovely. Many walks from there directly and we saw the shepherd come back with the flock which was impressive. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet was great too.

Beautiful spot, nice facilities, friendly staff. The local nature and farming focus is wonderful.

Positives sides:* the beautiful surroundings in that part of Germany - so many interesting sounds from the wildlife. Our kids kept asking so many questions every time they heard a bird, swish or grunting noise* excellent food - it was huge portions! GREAT after woodland walking* Super safe for children to stay there* Fantastic craftmanship of the old farm buildings and nice to see the photos from long time ago* Not so far to petrol stopNegatives sides:* Very far and intricate to find by car, especially late in the evening! Make sure to plan your arrival early.* The extra bed linens available were not so clean* The floors were also not very well hoovered, especially by beds and under table.* Poor shower - very slippery for small children* Bed mattress was so firm (but each to their own) Would have been nice with a medium kind of softness* Little TV channels available to watch later in the evening* Narrow steps on top floor (where we had our rooms). Hard to bring a dog around them up/downs

Nature paradise, location in the heart of Heide national park, huge green area

The staff are not English speakers

The location is fantastic and in the centre of the heath. Very quiet and an amazing restaurant with local produce. Owned by the charity that run the heath, so your money goes to support their excellent work. As a bonus you can watch their shepherd and dogs take the sheep in and out at the start and end of the day. Amazing!

The hotel ist located in a lonely region, called Lüneburger Heathand can only be reached by car. The hotel has several guesthouses. The meals are taken in the main building. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent. All the people taking care of the guests are extremely friendly and helpful. We certainly will visit the hotel once more.

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and accommodating to our needs. Amazing location and hotel, perfect for family stay. Great food and wine. We'll definitely return!
