About
Dating from 1737, this historic hotel in Aumühle is set near the pretty Mühlenteich lake and Sachsenwald forest, just a 20-minute light rail ride from Hamburg. A former hunting castle, the Hotel Waldesruh am See has been in the Bismarck family’s possession since 1896. The elegantly furnished rooms feature selected antiques. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Savor quality cuisine in the restaurant with its open fireplace, and relax in the Orangerie room or on the romantic lakeside terrace.
