Landgasthof Hotel Hess

This hotel is obviously run with love. The decor is delightful and the staff are friendly and helpful. The owner takes a personal interest in his guesta and employees.

Restaurant is recommendable indeed.Staff was certainly a positive encounter

The newer addition behind the older part of the hotel was not as nice as the front building.

Location is convenient to access from Highway

No elevator available for rooms 1 - 7. Unpleasant to carry bulky luggage to room

We have stayed here several times over the years on our way down to Italy, and there is a reason. Even if the location is perfect, that is not the main reason - the personnel, nice rooms and their amazing kitchen are. Always a great stop, so also this year!

Perfect location for an intermediate stop; large and quite room; very good breakfast; I will certainly return for one or two nights

There is nothing to complain about

High quality dinner - and big portions! As our friendly waitress said: "No one goes home hungry with us". As for the breakfast: there was so much to choose from and, again, great quality food. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout.

I paid a little extra, and got a room with the kitchen ventilator right outside the window. It smelled at was a bit noisy

Unfriendly staff, poor food experience.

The whole package was excellent. Extensive free car parking, friendly efficient staff, comfortable room, tasty evening meal and extensive breakfast. Having stayed one night on travel through to Poland we booked again for the return journey.

Absolutely a charming small hotel in every respect: nice, large room, everything very clean, quiet, good bed, excellent restaurant, good service.

The breakfast buffet was very good. Lovely, clean room with balcony and garden view. The staff a little stand-offish.

A lift to the third floor would have been appreciated.

This is a beautiful , peaceful hotel yet a short distance from the main road . The staff were friendly , the beds comfortable , and the dinner delicious .

Tea bags were of plastic - could be switched maybe?

Excellent place for one night stay. Very close to the motorway but still quiet place. Spacious and clean rooms, where you sleep like a baby. The restaurant is good with big variety of dishes.
