Beautifully located secluded Manor House hotel. Exceptionally friendly staff spacious room , and high quality dining at a reasonable price.

Liked it all but a little difficult to locate this property which sits in a low valley by satnav. Found it after asking locals for directions.

a fantastic place of peace and strength in the middle of the green oasis with historical history. Great outside terrace by the river, great hotel with elevator and spacious rooms. Very upscale atmosphere for all occasions, with its own church and great hiking trails right in front of the hotel door. Free parking at the hotel. Very friendly staff

Very quite place, not far away from the main road. The food is very delicious. The stuff is very friendly and helpful.

i was early up (before 0600) to be able to be on route before 6:30 which was important to me. Was in the respetion 6:20The receptionist was not qualified to check me out and made me wait more than 20 minutes before suggesting that I could pay via factor sent in mailso with frustration having had to wait much to long I left the site without having payedLater the day I received a mail with bill. This was fully written in German and no info on bank detailsI had to contact the hotel again for IBAN nr and info to be able to check out . There must be an easier way to check out early, and the info sent to foreigners should be in English and completed with all details so we don't have to spend all this unnecessary work and time on an easy thing as check out and pay

The position

Bad smel in the bathroom, we leaved the hotel 2 days before because of a personal problem rhey didnt wanated to cancel our stay for these 2 days so we had to pay, staff of reception not friendly at all

It’s a beautiful, historic property, tastefully remodelled.

There is no shuttle service to take you into the nearest town and taxis are costly.

This review is about our hotel-room: very good, big, in the old main building. comfort plus, everything okay. Pricing is self-confident. Nice landscape, park-style, in the middle of nothing. Thumbs up!

Restaurant. Overprized, slow service. Just one motivated staff for everything: orders, serving, reception, phone-calls... (the funny bit: the bin on car-park full of Mc-Donalds paper and beer-cans from somewhere else...)

No gym, and swimming pool

The hotel is amazing. In the middle of nature and not far from Köln, Dußeldorf and Wuppertal. Staff are fantastic and friendly. The restaurant has great German food and drinks. The rooms are large, clean and beautiful. There is a tiny golf course on the property for pitch and putt. Everything about the place is perfect for a weekend getaway.

In the green but no far by car from Koln downtown. Particular setting, fully renewed unusual nice single room. Warm staff.

Furnished and kept with great sensitivity towards the history of the place. Very spacious rooms and tranquil surroundings.

The hotel is situated close to the motorway but still very secluded in the middle of a small forest where the only noise is a faint trickle from the small creek running nearby or birds tweeting. However, during summertime the outside guests may be heard, too. We stayed in a small suite situated in the newer part of the complex, very modern and well equipped. Breakfast was very good with a rich selection.

Be aware that the capacity of the restaurant is limited. There are several kilometers to the nearest restaurants. Also if you want to hit the road early be aware that breakfast is not served before 7 am all days except 7:30 am Sunday. There is no lift, so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs yourself.

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is located in a quiet and clean green area, but not far from the motorway. The on-site parking facility was very convenient. The hotel's territory is beautiful and the landscape around is picturesque. The hotel architecture combines the traditional and modern styles. We liked the design of the spacious and quiet rooms with comfortable beds and equipped bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of different meals. The communication with the hotel staff was smooth. We are very thankful to the polite staff who welcomed us to the hotel on our arrival in the evening and helped us with our requests!

very friendly staff. We staid in the dependance, which was recently renovated. Nice restaurant with good wines at affordable price. also charging my EV car was offered.

only minor remarks: soap reservoir in the shower were empty and scrambled eggs at breakfast were not fresh.
