Good hotel stayed there 5 times now very good value for money breakfast is good

Breakfast was simple but fine. Convenient location. Good value for money

Parking is limited and tight.

Rooms were large beds comfortable quilts lush

Need a kettle in the rooms so you can make tea and coffee only a bottle of sparkling water provided . Didn’t have breakfast as only continental and not to our taste was not going to pay 10 euros just for coffee

Close to public transport links, comfy beds, large room

The staff on check-in could have been more informative, just gave us the key and sent us to room, no info on wifi password, breakfast, local attractions etc

good price, friendly staff, good breakfast. Close to the railway. We went to a football match in Cologne, and we only stayed for the one night.

Everything was great

Hotel johnel is located next to the gas station and from the oudside it looks like it needs some work, but once you get inside it really is great. The staff are really friendly and for breakfast we got fresh fried eggs which were amazing.

Quite central, uncomplicated, ok to stay for a short time

Could be cleaner. There was a bug in our room and the bathroom shelves weren't very clean

Unfortunately there was a hot water issue, therefore the person at reception was indeed super kind to refund €20 for the issue as it would take more than a few hours to resolve and I had to check out soon. See you next time

Breakfast was delicious, a lof choices, anyone can be satisfied.

A little noisy in a morning because of construction going on around the building.

We have stayed here several occasions over the past 20 years when we visit our daughter. The hotel has upgraded rooms and bathrooms during this time. There's no fuss, the rooms are clean and comfortable with decent bathrooms. Breakfast is quite ok, includes eggs, bacon, fresh rolls etc. The hotel is to the side and back of a petrol station.

I wish they would upgrade the lift - it's a bit old and I always wonder if today is the day it gives up. The hotel is under a flight path, so if it's hot and the windows are need to be open, it can be rather noisy.

The room was spacious and clean. Bathroom quite nice.

The covers were too warm for this time of the year, and there weren't any other in the room.

Have stayed there several times over there last 30 years
