Pros +
- If what one needs is quiet time, there won't be a more peaceful place than this. Service is great, and if you book with half pension, you won't even need to worry about deciding restaurants. Perfect for a reading holiday. I've stayed here several times already.
- We went to the restaurant for breakfast; the buffet had a very good variety. Also, it has a very good kid room for families with kids.
- Beautiful location, very clean rooms, good breakfast.
Cons -
- We had a room which had a door connected to another room and we could hear all the noises coming from there. The pillows were also not comfortable.
- The food is really really bad.
- The breakfast could have more clearly marked vegan options. I didn’t appreciate being put in an adjoining room where I could hear the people in the other room. Otherwise all was very good.

Great service, facilities and vey quiet
The food is really really bad.
The location right on the water and next to the forest is unbeatable.

The place is beautiful, with gorgeous, relaxing, fairytale view. It’s quiet, clean and the staff are very kind and helpful. The design of the hotel is very nice and it was recently renovated.
It was a bit annoying to arrive with public transport, as our bus from Rheinsberg centre was cancelled and we had to walk in the cold. The spa is quite small, pool could be warmer and prices for treatments are way too high.
Location and friendly stuff!
The coffee in the morning. And unfortunately the fitness room was closed for renovations (the receptionist didn’t even know about it).Big hotel and many guests. Would be great to have a snack bar 24/7 and the check in should be earlier! To properly enjoy the stay! I find 16h very late for a check in.
Our room was well equipped, spacious, clean and very comfortable when staying with two children (one of them being an infant). The breakfast buffet was delicious and we were very happy with the options available there. The location is amazing! The scenery of the surrounding area looks wonderful and it gives the stay an additional value.
The dinner was disappointing as the buffet restaurant was the only option available and it cost 30€ per person. It's too expensive compared to what they offered. Definitely not worth it.
Clean and beautiful. Very friendly staff.
The extra bed for our 10 years old son was not comfortable. There was not enough tables for breakfast
Booking confirmed but 2 rooms not available
Even after confirming our trip a week before the actual journey, on the day of arrival the hotel rejected us at the reception, A highlight of my mother’s 80th Birthday. The receptionist excused the Hotel with a technical defect over night. We arrived late afternoon and did not receive any update during the day. The hotel was obviously overbooked and we were sent to the sister hotel without any further explanation
A very nice place, with well-equipped rooms, a pool - and a marina with a lighthouse. Breakfast was great, and dinner was decent (as a half-board). A-la-cart restaurant, unfortunately, was having a day off. A perfect place to stay for a day or a couple of days.
We got what we want - pool ))
Food - was really a cheap version for not a cheap price. In the duplex rooms there is no window upstairs and therefore no fresh air when you sleep. That negatively affects the quality of sleep. The balconies are not suitable for talkong outside, you are sitting right next to your neighbor without anything to separate the view or the sound of your voice. But you can talk to your neighbors :)The lake is more for boats, rather than for kids to have fun or swim. So I think people with boats will like that place more
The pool was really large and awesome.
We had booked a juniorsuite for our four-person family. But the second bed for two is a sofa-bed too short and too uncomfortable to name it a bed.
Beautiful setting on lake Rheinsberger See with stunning sun sets. Rooms are spacious and nice with balconies, although no AC.
Key cards didn’t work almost every day, this is an ongoing issue, and needs to be fixed. There is only one small elevator for each wing, and one was out of order for 24h during our stay. They are renting out private party space with loud music till early in the morning on the weekends. Since rooms are close to the venue, you’re robbed of your sleep if you have not packed your noice canceling headphones. No allergies are listed at all on breakfast or dinner buffet! People with allergies are absolutely lost. The breakfast buffet could have been more versatile. There used to be omelets, but not anymore. Although the selection of fruit and vegetables could be bigger, not everyone likes apples, especially in the middle of summer. Not even bananas where to find. I used to bring my own food after the first morning, they were friendly enough to finish the bread in there oven. I asked beforehand if they could accommodate me, but got only a vage email back.I booked two rooms under my name, and called the day of the booking the hotel to make sure the rooms were close together, and the distribution of people in each room was correct. The rooms were far apart, and we ended up with two adults in one room and two adults and three kids in the junior sweet. It worked, but wasn’t ideal.FYI: you get presented with little booklets to read with information about the hotel. Nobody really wants to read a pamphlet during a few days stay. Kids got balloons, which was really nice. Herr Erdmann was also very friendly and helpful.
Amazing view from the hotel and from the restaurant. Best place for who loves boating. Breakfast and dinner is very delicious and lots of choice.
Beautiful location, very well maintained facility, clean with good restaurant
Parking should not cost 10 Euro
Very clean, cosy room. Staff were quick, welcoming and polite. The sauna was really nice to have on a cold day. Wanted to try the pool but didn’t get to it.
Our room didn’t have a bath. It wasn’t obvious in the room booking options. I’m not sure if our neighbors were just very loud or the sound proofing wasn’t the best.
Really friendly staff, nice breakfast and dinner buffetSwimming pool and saunaLocation
I like that the place is very cozy and has a nice lake/seaside view where you can walk peacefully. You can also drive to the city center quite fast.
I didn´t like that the food options in the hotel is quite limited i.e. they only serve buffet in the restaurants and not a normal menu. Not all guests can eat in a buffet style. You will need to drive to the center to have other food options.
It is very beautiful hotel! We had a perfect room for the family with two children. Spa was excellent and breakfast and dinner buffet ware tasty. Personal quite helpful and nice.
