Hotel & Restaurant Alte Schule

Traveling with a small dog, our room was more than pleasant, it had immediate access to the park across the street. The room is spacious, the bed comfortable and the pillows perfect. We had dinner at the restaurant, it was delicious, wine selection was the cherry on top :-) The breakfast was perfect. The hotel is easy access from the highway.

Quite places for rest.

Cold host, poor but clean rooms and cheep breakfast. Four that money you can have much more on the oder places.

Clean and modern rooms. Flexibility of late check-in. Free parking and WLAN Nice extras and a healthy breakfast.

This is an exceptional hotel. Situated in a small and very clean town, it has exceeded my expectations each time I have stayed. Good parking, quiet and very good restaurant. Nothing to improve.

There is nothing to dislike.

It was quite comfy stay with our dog. The room was clean and breakfast was rich enough.

I think it is overpriced considering its location. It is in a really small and silent village and also very basic utilities in the room, in my opinion it should cost less than it is.

Excellent and quiet stop on the your road travel. Spacious, clean and comfortable for a good night sleep before you continue your journey. Plenty of parking space.

The breakfast and the restaurant are quite pricy, the price of the room would have been fine if with breakfast, eventually find out that it wasn’t part of it. As nice a the hotel is, it’s a bit too steep for what it is on its location.

An exceptional dog friendly hotel. Ground floor room with private access to outside, making taking the dog in and out very easy. The food was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Incredibly helpful.

Quiet location in a small town, where you could go for walks after dinner. Very clean. Hot/cold breakfast offered each morning. Very good WiFi (WLAN). Shopping easy to reach in a few minutes by car: Ahrensburg, Trittau. Hamburg/Lübeck about 40 minutes away.Spacious room (by Euro standards) with amenities for showering. Staff appeared wiling to assist with issues

Not “dislikes” per se: because this seems to be a business-oriented property (based on the license plates and models of cars) parking can be an issue sometimes: I had to park a block away a couple times.Don’t expect an in-room fridge, coffee pot, or microwave.

Nice little hotel in a small town, Siek. Quite large bathroom and parking right outside. Dog friendly. The restaurant is very good and popular

I like very pleasant staff, Very nice surrounding. Small treats for both me and my dog. Clean and spacy room, comfortable bed.

When I came, all parking places were occupied by the restaurant guests :-(

freindly staff/owners, nice and clean room, breakfast is fresh, but other hotels beat it from same category we had on the trip...

The hotel is easy to reach from the highway, it is a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, incorporating motifs from the old schoolhouse that it used to be, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. The breakfast is very nice, but the real highlight here is the exceptional restaurant. Plan to have dinner there! The food is gourmet, always so good, beautifully presented and creative, with an excellent wine list. Also the waiters and waitresses are very knowledgeable and helpful.

That we could only stay one night!

It's clean, modern and functional. The staff are very friendly and the food is some of the best food I have ever had.

location, parking, size of room all as expected.Breakfast was not great but OKroom was clean, bathroom was spacious, shower was fine

somehow the room worked very cold, not pleasant. probably because furniture is outdated and the decoration should have been changed many years ago.it was chilly in the room despite I was here in spring. Don't think I want to be here when it is 0° C outside.

The receptionist personally drive me to the nearest town to catch a train because there was no avalanche transportation. She went above and beyond so thank you.

Sufficient parking in front of the hotel, large rooms with everything you need, easy to find but still quiet, good large bed, large breakfast with a wide variety of choices from coffee specialties to fruit juices, and from salmon to eggs.

I had a perfect stay / nothing to complain that would be fair against the Hotel, friendly people, clean, and everything according to description.

Loved this hotel! We travelled with our dog - 15 Euros extra but he received a welcome treat, his own bowl and blanket. Our room had a door opening directly on to the carpark so we could take him out for a walk without going through reception.We had a meal at the restaurant- if you want to treat yourself or have a special occasion it was well worth it.Staff and owner were excellent.Fantastic stay!

It was an amazing (but too short) stay! Really peacfull and quite place. Cozy room with an extremely big bathroom:) Also, it was so nice to find a small gift for our dog (and the hotel is pet-friendly btw, another advantage). The parking is quite big, and the cuisine in the restaurant is delicious!

Maybe it would be great to have an own small fridge in the room.
