Pros +
- Pleasant room, clean and with Scandinavian-style decor. Friendly and helpful reception on arrival.
- location and rooms were fantastic
- The place is beautiful, clean and great surroundings, perfect for relaxing. The room is big and with complete amenities
Cons -
- The hotel is rather over-priced for what it offers. This is particularly the case for meals, egregiously so for the minimal breakfast provided. Breakfast service was quite rude, insisting at first that no booking existed for me followed by an abrupt change of heart when I said 'never mind'. The hotel is in a scenic setting but otherwise in 'the middle of nowhere'.
- we had not pre booked dinner as were unsure around arrival time and restaurant was full. staff sorted something via room service
- Most of the staff don't speak/understand english.

This property was a gem! It completely blew our expectations, the location, the view, the tranquility and of course, the food..everything was perfect, can't wait to return .

- quiet and well-decorated room with clean bathroom and big balcony - friendly and helpful staff
- room temperature (cold despite in-room heater) - room light (too little for working on laptop)
Modern hotel friendly staff - good restaurants
Very well made, in the middle of beautiful nowhere, feels more like relaxed 4 stars. Be sure to check out their bungalows if traveling as a couple. I had a really great time, was at -2 Floor above the Water and not directly under the restaurant (Nr. 5). There were some minor episodes of noise from the restaurant but it wasnt loud or long enough to really bother: I spent all the time with slightly opened balcony door. All in all: Modern and cozy design, tasty breakfast, pleasant relaxation area, super friendly and helpful staff rocking the place: I really enjoyed my time there and would be happy to come back someday. There was just about enough parking spaces and the way there and to the attractions was stunningly beautiful and full of animals. Dinant and a lot of castles and attractions are available in 10-25min drive. France: 5 min.
The dinner at the restaurant couldnt fully meet my expectations given the price, but its still a nice and convenient place to eat and drink belgian beer.
- location - it is really quiet around the hotel, but at the same time it is really in the middle of nowhere. There is absolutely nothing to do in a walking distance, not even a path to take a walk- staff- very friendly and helpful. The English language level of the most of staff is very limited but they are really nice- nice drinks in restaurant (food very bad, pls see below)
- restaurant - we saw that the restaurant is busy, but to be honest the food was just bad. Every dish we had was below average. Very bad value for money.- paper thin walls. - our room was below restaurant terrace. It was not noisy, it was loud. No chance to sleep until restaurant is totally closed.- sofa bed - squeaky as it gets. looked like it could fall apart any time. Really poor sleep quality. ( Funny enough the double bed was very good quality)
Everything was very good. The rooms are modern with all facilities and with good view. The food was very good and the personnel very friendly. We'll gone go back this summer
The ambient and the comfy bed and pillows.
Spacious room with amazing bathrooms. Large comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and helpful
We couldn't get the heating to work in the room but the duvet was so thick and warm it didn't matter much to us.
very nice setting with the rooms having their own private balcony giving onto a little lake (pond) at the back of the property. Modern fittings in the rooms, very clean and tidy.
it was a shame that we couldn't have dinner in the hotel as it was fully booked and we only learnt that upon arrival. There are multiple options in the nearby town centre though, but you will need to have a car to get to it as it's not quite walking distance ;)
Fairly new hotel with well-kept room and nice balcony. Friendly staff. Parking available at the hotel.
There was still quite a bit of dust in our room.
Perfect quiet location, nice terrace with a relaxing view on the pond and warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent.
New hotel
Very very noisy. We were woken up at 6:30 AM on a sunday morning by kitchen noises. The kitchen is on the top floor and the rooms are beneath it. Very bad design and very bad insulation. Dont go there if you want a relaxed night sleep.
Modern house with quite nice rooms. Good bed and good breakfast.
Unfortunately sound-protection seems to have been forgotten. Also a walking map of the village and surroundings would have come handy. Finally, it was a bit cold in the evening/night.
Nice room, spacious bathroom & lake view. Decent restaurant.
I don't recommend this hotel if you're looking for a calm location. There is a gravel pit just next to the hotel and the machine started to work every day after 8 am. Maybe this is temporary but the noise was very annoying. Also if you live on the -1 level, the restaurant is just above your room, so you can hear the noises (like moving tables) during breakfast, lunches and dinners. Please also note that the rules available in the rooms are different from the one received by email (COVID related) and there are significant differences i.e. the check-out time. It's just very confusing, and the applicable rules should be available on the spot.
The room was modern, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast served at the table was varied, plentiful and delicious. The hotel had clear Covid-19 precautions in place.
Nothing to add. Our visit was excellent.
We went in the middle of the covid-19 deconfinement. Because of this, there was little interaction with the staff, which is understandable. The room was super clean, and I loved sitting in the balcony enjoying the view of the pond. The room and bathroom were well decorated and very cozy. We ate at the restaurant of the hotel and loved the cheesr and meat fondues!! In the restaurant, they had several glass barriers, again showing attention to the covid precautions. For breakfast, there was no buffet, but each table had: juice, iogurts, baguette, croissants, pain au chocolat, cheeses, butter, cold meats, watermelon, jam, plud coffea and tea. So there was no chance od not being full!
Not sure! Everything met our expectations. During dinner, service was maybe a bit delayed, but that's totally understandable due to covid precautions.
Super comfy bed. Excellent breakfast, fresh products, authentic. Lovely bathroom. Good WiFi. Very cosy restaurant / breakfast room. Quiet environment.
