- Rooms were as described and located as requested, well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable.Breakfast was extensive and excellent quality. Location is perfect, in the centre of town providing easy walking access to shops, bars and restaurants.
- Very welcoming and helpful staff at reception. We had a good size room and it was very peaceful.Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.
- The restaurant was exceptional, food, staff, service and ambience. Rooms were clean, quiet and serviced daily. Facilities were excellent including the games room with pool table.
Cons -
- Loose stone area made transporting a case difficult.
- Dinner cost €57 euros. On previous occasions it had been good.On this occasion it was awful!I had the cod and it wasn't cooked properly. When you put your fork in, a puddle of water appeared on the plate it was mushy and there was no texture to the dish. I wouldn't have paid €5euros let alone €57.There were no beef dishes on the set meal menu no seasonal vegetables, just asparagus and other vegetables I wouldn't ask for. Cous cous may be liked by many and Tagine cooking with lemon might tick some peoples boxes, but it doesn't appeal to me and it was the only red meat on the menu.A very bad experience. There was no waste basket in my room only a tiny bin in the bathroom. There was no USB socket in the room.My review sounds bad but the staff and rooms were fine but the horrible meal has put me off
- Stairs to room very steep, almost dangerous. Poor hairdryerBreakfast chaotic, barely organised. No bread or pastries until asked for, grudgingly given

Good welcome at reception. Decent parking, secure and close. Modern bathroom. A relaxed comfortable bar area.
Loose stone area made transporting a case difficult.
Spacious and clean, amazing bathroom. We were on the ground floor and it was very quiet.Loved the blackout curtains The staff was very welcoming, helpful and kind.Breakfast was ok, but the setting was so charming and beautifulIf we go back to those parts, we will stay here again, no doubt
Clean, comfortable, pleasant staff, great position

A charming hotel very close to the centre of town. Staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The food in Le Patio restaurant was delicious.
The hotel was spotlessly clean in every area, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were lovely. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was superb.
Beautiful buildings and surroundings, close to centre. Comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom. Friendly staffGood restaurant. Secure parking
Stairs to room very steep, almost dangerous. Poor hairdryerBreakfast chaotic, barely organised. No bread or pastries until asked for, grudgingly given
good size room and excellent bathroom. Eat in restaurant first night - very, very good. Staff very helpful
small beds , first day breakfast no croissants
Room was comfortable and very clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful/attentive. We enjoyed sitting in the bar/lounge area in the evening and the service there was excellent. Dinner at the restaurant on Saturday evening was also excellent.
I wasn't so keen on the self-service coffee machine at breakfast.
I was given a complimentary room upgrade on arrival and that was just the start of a great stay in Montreuil-sur-Mer. The whole experience was superb. Breakfast was really good with a huge selection of different things to eat. I only managed to eat at the restaurant on the one evening, due to other pre-existing plans, and it delivered. Lovely food and great service. Then there was the room. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good power, room and temperature control. Everything was well appointed throughout my room. All members of staff were superb and a credit to establishment.
I was in a recently re-furbished room in the main part of the hotel It was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The evening meal was memorable
Delightful character property perfectly located close to the centre. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff welcoming. Ample on site parking available although at an additional charge. Great restaurant on site serving highly quality food. Would definitely return and highly recommend
From start to finish, our stay at Les Hauts de Montreuil was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed and directed to secure off-street parking, and our twin room in the newer part of the hotel was spacious and comfortable, with a terrific shower. Thoughtful touches like complimentary water, tea and coffee facilities, and automatic window blinds made for a relaxing stay. The service was outstanding—special thanks to the wonderful Madame who looked after us during dinner and at the front desk the next day, making us feel truly valued guests. She even helped with my faltering French!Dinner was simply exquisite—so good that I’d return just for the food. We ended the evening with digestifs by the open fire in the cosy bar, a perfect touch. Breakfast the next morning was equally delightful, with a great continental spread, delicious little sausages, and freshly squeezed orange juice. We were genuinely sad to leave and will absolutely be returning!
Great location just 40 mins from the shuttle .Quaint village nice bars and food very safe
A well located hotel
We chose this hotel because it had a restaurant but didn’t expect to be told it was fully booked with no tables reserved for hotel guests. Our room was very small and had a bad smell of sewage. The manager did give us a small discount of €10 in recognition of this.
The incredible restaurant
The loo with no included sink separated from the actual bathroom.
Central location in a very interesting town AND has an incredible restaurant!Friendly helpful staff
Nothing - some milk to go with the tea in the room would have been nice but such a small thing.
The location, the staff and the food are all excellent. The breakfast was fresh and delicious.
Noise from the road but there is little to be done about cobbles.
