Cons -

- The whole place was run down. Lots of flies in the bedroom and bathroom, a thick smell of frying oil on the stairs. Very unpleasant.

Great location and nice to have a kettle and complimentary water bottles in the room.

The location was good.

I strongly object to the subjective "like/didn't like" of the questionaire. People booking on the site are presumably adults and should be able to make their own interpretations. The Temps d'Em suits us very well for the following; warm welcome, comfort, location, food & drink, and they smile at my imperfect French! Other people might have have different expectations.
Gorgeous location - great food in the evening. Wry helpful and friendly staff - Emilie in particular was fantastic at reuniting our daughter with her air pods via post - the French postal system meant it took 2 months but she went out of her way to make sure they got back to us!
Perfect location on the village square with plenty of parking right outside. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable. The “small” breakfast of bread and jam, croissant, coffee and juice was perfect. They also offer a “big” breakfast that adds meats, cheese, eggs etc plus more breads and pastries. We had a lovely stay and slept really well.
Nothing. It is a lovely little hotel.
Friendly people and excellent location.
No lift and room was small.
Friendly staff, great location and lovely food in the restaurant
The location was perfect for us very central just stopped for a couple of days plenty of bars and restaurants didn't get a good look round as it rained alot plenty of free parking
Saturday market you have to be careful not to where you park you can get towed away ask before you park
Great location, good bistro, excellent breakfast and lovely people. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Not everyone gets on with memory foam mattresses, including ourselves. It didn't ruin a great stay though.
Good location, room and especially bathroom small.
Bathroom very small.
Quiet, comfortable room (up 2 flights of stairs). Helpful and polite staff. Easy, free parking in adjacent large public carpark.(Didn't try breakfast as we preferred to us the excellent patisserie/boulangerie next door)
We have known this property for over twenty years but the new propriétér has improved it beautifully. Still a lovely lively town.
Like most of France, things are getting a little more dilapidated, shops closing, no boulangeries !
A great location to explore from. Lovely comfortable room. We enjoyed our stay there.
It would have been useful if there was a lift
Great location on the village/town square, and it’s a bar/restaurant with rooms, so we really enjoyed sitting outside with drinks, watching the world go by.
The ‘hotel’ side is dated, dark and very scruffy. Narrow stairs up to the second floor and no lift, so tricky to carry cases. The room smelt of feet, or my partner suggested dogs. Mould in the bathroom all over the ceiling and faulty light bulbs. It was a warm day/night as we staying in July and the rooms were stifling. No aircon and not even a fan. There was some sort of party or celebration in the square with shouting and screaming that went on until 2am, and we had to have the windows open for any chance of some air in the room. It was absolutely horrendous. We paid 17 or 18 euros each for breakfast (even our four year old) and the offer was pastries, cereal and eggs that you had to cook yourself on a hot plate. Everything was sparse and/or running out and we had to ask each time we needed anything, can I have some milk, can I have some eggs (to cook for myself), can I have a coffee, can I have some bread. Dreadful, and ruddy expensive for the privilege!
Situated in the middle of the square in montreuil, close to the city walls, the market, and all the restaurants of the town. Rooms were clean, comfortable and welcoming.
Location excellent at the square. Great staff.
Slightly dated but nothing awful
Comfortable, friendly and good food
