The bar was very friendly and the breakfast was good the lift was very useful for those who are not so good with stairs.

Excellent breakfast, hotel is very comfortable and quiet. Great location. Parking available on site.

When we checked in we were just given our key card, no other information about breakfast, parking etc. The next day we put the “please clean the room”sign on the door but when we returned in the early afternoon the room had not been cleaned, although a fresh bottle of water had been left. We didn’t bother to pursue it as we were only there for two nights. A lot of hotels ask you to “opt in” for room cleaning but we weren’t advised of this on check in.

Lovely historic building, nicely decorated, friendly staff, amazing restaurant, great breakfast and secure parking, great value and just a few minutes walk to the centre of town with numerous bars and restaurants.

Iv stayed here now around 5 times, they are always so friendly easy going and extremely dog friendly!!

Couldn’t get a statement for my stay showing drinks etc only managed to get a receipt with total amount so was unable to check it was correct

Unfortunately the restaurant was not open on Monday evening. For this level of hotel I would expect there to be the option to dine in every evening

The bar was lovely but not matched by the service which was unfriendly verging on rude. Hence the lower rating on staff friendliness not warranted by other members of staff in the hotel.

Great location. Lovely building. Room nice and very clean. Immaculate bathroom. Breakfast very good value for money.

No restaurant open. Helped themselves to an additional charge after we had settled the bill without asking if we had taken or had any extras which we had not. Basically that is theft. Have been trying to get the hotel to explain why they felt entitled to help themselves to an additional charge on our credit card with no authorisation .

Very well located to the town where there are lots of bars/restaurants and shops ,very pretty town .The hotel bar was very nice and comfortable with a wide range of drinks and some great cocktails,staff were all very helpful and friendly

Lovely hotel.... Nice and clean, very dog friendly €15 per dog.... Staff were brilliant.. Big rooms... Had a couple of cocktails in the bar with the Spaniels...

Beautiful old building renovated with all modern facilities whilst maintaining a sense of grandeur. Allowed to check in early and upgraded from a superior room to a junior suite. A huge space with a jacuzzi bath. Excellent breakfast available which was very good value for money. A warm welcome and friendly check out by the owner. Could not have wished for more on a short break.

It is our usual stop on our way back to the U.K. it is handy for the Eurotunnel.The staff are excellent. A lovely relaxing bar area.
