- Awesome position and view, some staff speaking well english and very nice
- We booked this excellent hotel for a bridging night between skiing in Les 2 Alpes & Serre Chevalier. The proprietor, Kirstie, was so welcoming and told us a lot about the interesting history of the hotel, which is full of original 1930s items. Our room was clean, warm and very comfortable, with spectacular mountain views. We enjoyed our dinner, and the buffet breakfast was great, with a large choice, including local produce. Highly recommend.

Cons -
- Other staff not helping at all: at the arrival we entered in the restaurant and the staff asked to go out again and enter the hotel, while we were with a baby, a very windy and cold weather outside - after that we discovered there was the possibility to go from restaurant to hotel from insideAt breakfast in the second day the lady didn't speak english, but asked us if we wanted a baby chair: we said yes but everything stopped there, she didn't bring it.The room wasn't very clean, the bathroom was full of yellow drops on the walls: I don't know what they were and I don't want to know, I just know it shouldn't have yellowish drops on the walls close to the WC.
- motor bikes stored on groundfloor in such a way as to make access to the hotel diffucult

The staff were really lovely and very helpful. I didn't know how to use some of the appliances and they came over to help. The breakfast was really good with a lot of choices and we especially liked the pain au chocolat. The bed was really comfortable and large. The pool was great to jump into at the end of the day and there was also a gym available. All in all a really good stay.
I loved everything about this place!! Stunningly beautiful. Staff super nice and helpful. Charming decor. Some reviewers said it was dated, but it just looks like a lodge, super cute. It was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was AMAZING. The mattress was a bit firm for my taste, but that's the only tiny negative. I wish we had booked more nights here!!
Local food, local beer, fabulous hosts. A family run hotel with a fascinating history and superb surroundings both inside and out. They couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and the spa facilities were very welcome at the end of a long travel day
Nothing, all was amazing
The staff were brilliant ! Top marks plus food ‘ ambience extraordinary! We got snowed in & the staff were brilliant evacuated us all with snow ploughs chains etc all very exciting !
Great staff that helped pleasently when ever we needed something. Breakfast is a bit more than basic and was sufficint for our needs. Parking was comforatable and the restaurant was at decent quality. The spa is nice addition to our stay. Not fancy but very relaxed.
Room design in 2 levels was surprizing and made the our stay less comfortable, this may not be true to everybody. there is no fridge in the room (not included in room specifications). The hotel is located away from any other restaurant. When entering the spa we almosed tripped into a missing deck section on the right. This hazard need to be treated. Some more livelyhood of the lobby would have been a nice addition.
Everything. The location, our room, the old timey decor, the spa. We had a lovely time and will be returning in the near future.
The hotel totally exceeded our expectations. It had a very relaxing feel to it, being genuine and comfortable with no pretences of being swish and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing information of suitable walks and details of the EV charging attached to the building. The restaurant, although not flash, met all our needs. Good quality and good value. Very good beer!
Nestled in a breath-taking location, the lodge was perfect for spending the day outdoors, warming up in the sauna, and heading to dinner for an excellent meal, complete with local products, including digestifs. Save room for desserts! The buffet breakfast was self-service and included everything you might need. The staff were wonderfully friendly, multi-lingual, and knowledgeable about the local surroundings when asked. Big rooms, excellent views, even from the hot tub. Direct access to trails (in summer), the Botanical Garden, the main road, and the regional bus stop. Covid measures were followed at all times. I saw ski descents for winter, too.
Some amenities were cancelled in order to follow Covid measures, but the staff explained the reasons behind the changes and communicated them as soon as I reserved the room, with plenty of time to cancel my booking. The room got a bit warm at night, but I could open the windows for a cool breeze. No grocery store in immediate vicinity, but area has a cafe, restaurant, some souvenir shops, a botanical garden, and a honey shop.
