Location was great for motorway
No shower curtain and no shower holder
Location while travelling through France from Orange to St Omar was great.
Room facilities were poor with paper cups, no milk for limited drinks. However, the literature implied you could ask for help but we didn't test it.
Perfect location on the way back up to England from Annecy. We booked last minute around 4pm and arrived very late but there were detailed instructions around how to enter the property and locate our room keys. Family room served us well on the top floor. We left at 7am so didn’t get to meet staff but overall a good experience :)
No complaints
Convenient stop off near the autoroute. Restaurant on site and reasonably prices rooms
Slightly dated bathrooms and no blind on the bathroom window
Rustic hotel close to motorway which serves great food
No shower head stand
Location
Very very tired badly in need of facility update, which is a shame because it could be so much better. Restaurant food OK good value but limited choice. Very busy road with a lot heavy lorries.
This is a two star hotel and there is no pretence to luxury. But they get the basics absolutely right. The room and bathroom was recently renovated, clean and adequately large. The dinner was very good value, simple French country fare, freshly cooked, with good value and very drinkable house wine. Breakfast was traditional French, self service, good bread, proper coffee, croissants etc, yoghurts, juice, fruit and fruit compote, nothing cooked. Excellent if, like us, you are fed up with elaborate and pretentious international breakfasts. Family run, friendly staff. We would come again.
Good location for trips across Eastern France, near an Autoroute junction. l've stayed twice now Good quite traditional hotel with restaurant. Frienfly staff and excellent value.
Some may think the stairs too steep!
Friendly staff. Good meal
Should have asked for a first floor bedroom. 2 flights of stairs which were steep & difficult on 2nd floor
It was easy to find in a good location on the Via Francigena. The meals were excellent.
The bathroom was very small
Friendly welcome at dinner, delicious food.
Good value for money, however one of the beds in the twin room sloped.
Very good value for an overnight stop on the way to the Alps.
Attic room was a little chilly (trip was in January!)
The location, just off the autoroute
Arrived at 16:45. A note to say that staff would arrive at 18:45. Key available for the room. We looked at the room. It was very cold and damp. Heater would not work. Mould on wall below window. There was no way we would stay in that room, even though we had paid for it. We left and found another hotel further up the autoroute. We had also sent a message to book a table in the restaurant. Fortunately that was ignored.

The hotel is perfectly situated half way from Calais to the Alpes, about 4.5 hrs from each. The hotel was very comfortable, great shower and the onsite restaurant was really good and a great addition to our stay. The staff were really helpful, even with my broken French. Would definitely stay here again next time we travel through France.
It was fine for our party, but this is a typical French hotel and the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and there is no lift.
Easy to find, just off the auto route. Room was fine, clean, comfortable bed. Dinner was good honest cooking. Breakfast was pre-prepared but decent.
Noise proofing in rooms was poor - I would hear everything above.
