Pros +
- The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The pool and playground area were great. Super value for money.
- We had traveled 11 hours in 38 degrees heat that day, when we arrived. So to arrive to a staff that were expecting us, into a “cool” mountain air with the most incredible view were fantastic. The room (for five) were clean and had all we needed. The kids went straight to the pool, while I had a nice cold local beer at the terraces. Fantastic. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and there was nothing, that we did not find delicious. Breakfast were good and plentiful. We are definitely thinking, that maybe next year, we should spend a couple of days at the hotel.
- Willing and friendly staff, we changed our room to be at the rear of the property. Beautiful garden, terrace for aperitifs. Restaurant was busy and had nice ambiance, service was good despite business of restaurant. Good choice on menu, food very tasty, breakfast was also good.
Cons -
- I was not a big fan of the restaurant, the dishes could have been better for the money and I lacked better options.
- We liked it all. Should I recommend something, it Wouk be, that there was some small kennels, that you could keep your dog at at night and for a few hours at a time. No other hotel has that and it is not really necessary, but it would be nice.
- Stairs to bedroom were steep, not good for arthritic knees! There were no tea/coffee making facilities

Superbly located at the foot of high mountains accessible from the Hotel. Stunning views, peaceful and a good restaurant with the owner as the Chef. A family owned hotel since 1934. Wonderful French breakfast and reasonable price. This is an enchanting 2 star hotel, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. I would go there again without any hesitation. I am a well seasoned traveller and stayed at many hotels worldwide, many high luxury and I can recommend this establishment for its enchanting simplicity, good service, good food and superb location
There is nothing I could fault.
Quiet location. Pleasant room. Very good restaurant. Very friendly staff.

Lovely place with Mountain View’s. The meal was superb and there’s lots of space outside with chairs to relax in for those traveling when it’s sunny.
The bed was a small double so my husband’s feet hung over end of bed.
The evening meal and continental breakfast were very good as was the service at the meals.

The dinner was delicious, helpful staff. Welcoming arrival.
Bit worried about the bathroom, step up to toilet, especially in the dark.
A gem of a hotel. Perfect location for a stop when travelling the Route Napoleon or for exploring the surrounding area. Extremely friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Our room had a mountain view. Good breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the swimming pool - the perfect way to cool off after a long day on the road.
If I had to find something... the WiFi coverage in our room wasn't great ( we were right at the top of the house). It was good everywhere else, though.
We found this lovely countryside hotel on our way to Provence. We started in the afternoon with a swim in the pool and some relaxing in the garden. Then a great dinner with local flavours and a good night’s sleep in comfortable beds. Excellent and friendly service. Warmly recommended!
Warm, inviting atmosphere in a picturesque setting. Tastefully decorated with vintage pieces that showcase the history of the family and area. Genuinely friendly greeting and great service from a team who love what they do. Food was excellent! Super clean, very comfortable, very quiet.
nothing at all
Great cosy lodgingFriendly staffRoom very cleanGo to the Restaurant, got the best food
We found this place on our way home from Provence 22 years ago and had fond memories of our walk, the views and the lovely food. I was pleased to find the hotel and book a room for us and our dog when we returned to Provence this year and used this as our first stopover on the way home to the UK. This time we stayed in the Annex which was better with a dog as we were worried about any noise. We briefly used the lovely pool before dinner. Dinner was amazing. Highly recommended. The room was clean and comfortable. We also had a lovely breakfast. Every staff member was really friendly and we enjoyed our return. The place has the same charm and decor. The scenery is really special and you can walk a flat loop from the hotel to see it all. Last time we walked up the hill. Highly recommended and a great price. Wish we could've stayed longer.
Friendly and accommodating staff. We had a very comfortable room in the annex. Lovely park and swimming pool with stunning views.Very good reasonably priced restaurant.
By the end of a week's stay with half board, we would have liked a bit more variety in the menu.
Good breakfast and beautiful location. The dinner was also very good.I enjoyed using the swimming pool!
The noise from construction work nearby.
Beautiful old hotel located in a small lovely village with views of the stunning mountains and countryside. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and new and the bed was extremely comfortable. We ate in the restaurant outside on the terrace. The food was excellent and the staff friendly..
Everything was wonderful.
What an incredible place. Really warm welcome from the family running the hotel and restaurant. Really comfortable beds and generous room size. The restaurant is great, and the local beer is too... It feels as if it is way off the beaten track, in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains, but it's only 10 minutes ride from the motorway.
Amazing dinner, location was beautiful. One of the best meals we have had on an overnight stay in France.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely to unwind on the terrace with a drink on arrival. Very reasonable price for a fantastic meal.
the location was amazing. views, garden, terrace exceptional. staff very helpful and accommodating. lovely evening menu and good wine. Very comfortable bed with great garden and mountain views from the room. Peaceful too, but be sure to book dinner - others know of this place!
Not open till 4pm, so had to wait - fortunately in the sun on the terrace, so no problem.
