Pros +
- The young lady on reception was very professional, friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and ensure that we were OK. She is a real asset to the hotel.
- I am not sure this hotel is not a scam. The Tourist Information Office, 100m away, thought the hotel was closed and reported dealing with a steady flow of failed bookings. They arranged an alternative hotel for me when all attempts to contact the Palmarium failed.
- Poor
Cons -
- The hotel is possibly undergoing refurbishment but when we stayed (summer 2024), the facilities were very basic. Also note that you will be charged local tax which Booking.com incorrectly states is included.
- The hotel looks decrepit. I was eventually contacted by email at 4:26pm but by then I had already sought an alternative. There was no-,one at the hotel, and, as far as I can tell, they remain unaware that I was never in residence. Oh, and don't get me started on Booking.com customer support.
