    • Fabulous and peaceful hotel spa in the middle of the French countryside! Gloriously renovated and restored! After a busy week in any large city coming here was a delight. The hotel manager treated us like family, we felt cared for in an extraordinary situation when our rental car was disabled! They helped us make alternative arrangements with a taxi service and train.
    • Great historic building with stunning views
    • Fabulous hotel in great setting on hill with long views over the valley. Wonderful pool with great views too.Historic building beautifully converted. The bedrooms at the front have the best view. The proprietor is super friendly. Breakfast fantasticThe restaurant was good too - don't know why there were so many negative reviews of it.

    Cons -

    • You really do need a car to get here since it is in the middle of the beautiful French countryside.
    • Nothing, although signage from road wasn’t obvious
    • Wi-Fi not working in the room. Power was down for some hours. But the big problem is the restaurant (we were said managed by a different company) where the ladies serving at tables give the idea they have never been in a restaurant, even as guests. And it is closed on Sunday. There are some good options nearby, but not at walking distance

Location and facilities very beautiful. Very large room, great terraces and wonderful landscape. Plenty of space to park motorbikes and cars

Fabulous views from the hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful old building.

No lounge access in the evening and so had to sit in your room. A few cobwebs and dusty in places (although maybe to be expected in such an old building). Lots of loose hair strands in the bathroom.

Huge comfortable room, very comfy bed too. Very helpful staff, good breakfast. Comfortable sunbeds with shades around the pool.

Although the partner restaurant served good food, there was a limited choice as the menu did not change so rather restricted for our 4 night stay. The access to the hotel was rather tricky for a big motorbike and there were no other restaurants easily accessible by motorbike.

We come back to this hotel whenever we are in the area, now first time after pandemics; the hotel keeps as good as before! Charming château from 18th century renovated with best standards and taste, nice comfortable room, beautiful views, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Restaurant next to hotel is also outstanding.
