Hotel Chateau Orlice

Chateau Orlice is a wellness hotel set within the picturesque grounds of a historic 13th‑century fortress on the outskirts of Letohrad in East Bohemia. The highlight of the entire estate is its castle spa and intimate wellness zone, offering a perfect escape from everyday stress. Guests can unwind in the hydromassage whirlpool, Finnish sauna, cooling area, and relaxation lounge overlooking the surrounding nature. The entire space is designed for maximum privacy, tranquility, and complete rejuvenation of body and mind. The estate also features a fitness center and a wide selection of relaxing and experience‑based activities. After the wellness experience, gastronomy takes center stage. The stylish restaurant located in the historic fortress, complete with a covered outdoor terrace overlooking the pond, offers a unique atmosphere. Guests can enjoy an experiential dinner in private themed lounges, directly on the pond’s surface, or in an authentic 13th‑century cellar. The estate itself features a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, when the fortress protected important trade routes along the Tichá Orlice valley. Today, it blends historic charm with modern comfort and personalized service that guests appreciate above all. The surrounding nature invites visitors to stroll around the ponds, enjoy romantic picnics, or head out on active excursions. Bicycles and e‑bikes are available for rent, with cycling routes leading, for example, to the ruins of Žampach Castle. Families with children will enjoy the playground with trampolines, indoor playroom with cinema, the nearby Żabák Nature Trail, and the popular alpaca feeding. Chateau Orlice also hosts a variety of cultural and experiential events—concerts, themed evenings, tastings, and seasonal activities held in the historic fortress interiors and castle park. A current schedule of events can be found on our website: www.chateau-orlice.cz. Chateau Orlice is the ideal choice for anyone seeking harmony between wellness, nature, gastronomy, and an exceptional atmosphere in an authentic historical setting.
