Pros +
- The staff and the food. Excellent
- Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was very good. Easy location and car park.
- Our experience at Coach House Hotel Sligo was exceptional from start to end. The hotel is well-appointed and pretty. The staff were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make us comfortable. We arrived a bit late and were just in time for last orders at the restaurant's dinner service. The food was wonderful, and I am so happy we did not miss out on the experience! It is easy to understand their popularity with the local residents. They even gave us recommendations on places to go during our visit, and we were able to enjoy breakfast before our outing. The kept our luggage safe and allowed our car to remain parked on their lot while we enjoyed the lovely town.
Cons -
- Bedroom could do with an update but did not affect our stay
- There’s a bit we didn’t like but it’s an old building and most of it was because of that.
- Honestly, I cannot think of anything to share here. Seriously, our experience was great start to finish!

Breakfast was lovely, hotel staff very helpful. Room was cozy and bed comfortable.
Bathroom specifically could do with a little updating. The room itself was very nice but bathroom a bit cold, as if I was in an old leisure centre. It was a lovely size so could be an amazing space for a ‘wow’ bathroom.
Requested an omelette which wasn’t on the menu which they kindly provided
No nets on windows so couldn’t leave curtains open when in room as overlooked
Really helpful staff and brilliant breakfast
The rooms are comfortable but not overly modern (for the price)
Good size room with all facilities as expected. Welcome from staff was very good. Food was excellent especially as we arrived close to the time that the kitchen would close. Good car parking.
very helpful - letting us check in early
view from window
Breakfast facilities were simple but very adequate. The fry-up was excellent - a good start to the day. Staff were very good.
Great location for the beer festival. Nice coffee at breakfast and the staff were friendly
Maybe some cooked vegan options like sausages/ avocado etc. Or porridge. The view from the room wasn't very pleasing, it was a roof and fans from the kitchen etc.
The hotel is constantly evolving. We’ve stayed here a few times and they are always adding little touches, new decor etc. Great breakfast that is freshly cooked to order and we also had a super dinner. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff are very friendly
Lovely place, very clean. Off of the beaten track. Only 12 rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food in the restaurant, breakfast fantastic all cooked fresh. Room fantastic size with plenty of furniture. Bathroom with bath and shower fantastic size.
The welcoming we received ,Food xcellent Staff friendly
Can't fault
Spotlessly CleanHelpful staffExcellent valueNice townExcellent breakfast
Single bed in room not as comfortable as double bed
Place was spotless, quiet and the breakfast was lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff
a fantastic hotel very clean the staff were amazing very friendly made the stay so much more fun ,, 10 out or 10 from us
Irish breakfast, no fruits or vegetables
The large bathroom was unpractical and ugly with just a tiny little sink placed very low (for a wheelchair?) so that a tall person really has to bend to reach down to it, and no place where to put toiletries - definitely not worth the money for anyone who appreciates practical or nice bathrooms. Shower was all right (but in a bathtub which I suppose is not practical for someone in a wheelchair if that was the purpose of the bathroom).
good service and welcoming staff, though it was quiet and restaurant was closed in the evenings each day.
very quiet, due to ongoing pandemic affecting numbers of tourists.
The staff were so friendly and helpful and I must say the food was top notch beautiful .
The room needs updated but was comfortable and clean .
Location great, staff all great, food very tasty.
The room could have been a bit warmer
