Campiglione Hotel

Owner was amazing. My son stayed there a night before a flight. He had to leave by 6:30am to get to the airport and taxis don’t start running until 8am. The owner drove him to the airport so he wouldn’t miss his flight . Doesn’t get any better than that.

Location, decent breakfast, kind employees

Old facilities, looks like a 1980 hotel, clean but outdated, queen mattress is not a queen, it's just two single mattresses together, the shower has two old plastic doors that don't really work well, no shampoo in the room only soap.

It's big and looks very elegant. Clean, confortable and my room was pretty big

The staff was rather small, at least that day. Nobody at the reception for a long time when I needed to check out, so I went to have breakfast first and then came back at the desk. The breakfast was a la carte and I prefer the buffet, where I can see with my eyes what I'm getting and I can go back to choose as many times as you can.

We had to order breakfast from the menu in the advance - the preceding evening. Menu was in Italian, we had to use google translate for help. And in the morning they confused our order. It was a bit annoying at that time, but funny with the passage of time.There was a bothering step at the bathroom entrance.There is a lovely pool, but no place to hang the bathing suit and wet towel, drying rack would help.

The location is great for visiting both Assisi and Perugia - in a quiet part of town less than 10 minutes drive from Assisi proper (you can actually see it from the hotel) and about 25 minutes from Perugia. In addition to the in-house resturant, there are a number of resturants in the center of Bastia Umbra which is a few minutes drive. Rooms were comfortable (even though a bit old), and the breakfast was great (you need to order to what you would want the evening before).

In one of the rooms we booked, the shower was incredibly small for some reason. The place also has a restaurant, so on some evenings the parking situation could be a bit tight.

Very big rooms, very good restaurant, pool, big parking, close to Assissi. Free wi-fi. Everything was very very good.

Everything was so relaxing, garden, outdoot and indoor design, service...Very good hotel.
