The Ballaro' Hotel - Budget Room is located 325 ft from t Palermo Train Station, and is housed in the former royal apartments of the Filangeri Palace of the Prince of Cutò. Most rooms have private bathrooms. The building is a rare example of 18th-century Sicilian architecture, and still features the original ceiling murals. The rooms have traditional tile floors and wrought-iron beds. They have either air conditioning or a fan. A sweet breakfast is served daily at the Orientale Hotel, between 8 am and 10 am.

- Price was good and location was within walking distance of everywhere we went. Came in late so location next to central station was a plus. cute building and breakfast room has unique decor.
Cons -
- Fluorescent lighting in the room wasn't great. Breakfast left something to be desired.
