    Pros +

    • Breakfast was delicious and had a good selection, hosts were friendly and explained about the history of the place.
    • Super good remote location. Very quiet. Nice rooms. Breakfast was average, but ok. A very nicely maintained old park surrounds the house.
    • It’s a very unique place, in fact a former Baltic German manor of the 19th Century, surrounded with history and a beautiful environment as well as a rather diverse wildlife. It is ideal for those want to watch birdies or just simply wish to hide from everyday life. The landlord as well as the landlady are very kind and helpful, the breakfast was also delicious.

    Cons -

    • Everything was good, only a humble wish that would have made the stay prefect would have been to have an opportunity to charge our EV during the night. We only discovered after our stay that the charging stations outside of the via Baltica are under 50kWh and require very laborious registring process to use (in Haapsalu).
    • Tap water is not drinkable. In our bedroom did not work floor heating nor ventilation - after the shower in the evening it was still very humid in the morning.
    • I think, a hair dryer could be useful in the bathroom.

The location was excellent for birdwatching. The kitchen allowed us to cook our meals. The host was very nice.

A former manor house in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation has everything one needs for a short stay and the room was perfectly clean. Good value for money. This place was perfect for staying one night while exploring the area, but I can imagine spending there more days and exploring more of the national park in the area.

The room was very basic but comfortable and the location was great.Breakfast was excellent.

    9AnnelyPosted on: 6-6-2024

Breakfast was great, options for everyone, plenty of food left for you if you are not an early bird and the host kindly offered to bring more of whatever had run out. Although you probably should double check when you have dietary restrictions. The room was spacious and more than enough room for three people (we were traveling with a teen). Check in at any time.

There is no air conditioning so the room was a little hot, also there was a mini fridge in the room which on its own is a great plus but it was a little noisy. Oh, speaking of noise - there are about a million birds living outside and they are never quiet FYI In case you don't like birds but are planning a visit to bird country.

Super nice place to stay, especially if you love birds )Friendly hostAll neat and cleanBreakfast absolutely satisfying

noisy refrigerator in front of the bed, turned it off at night

Comfortable bed, quiet, rural location with nice evening walk destinations - like bird watching tower. Good breakfast, friendly staff.Place takes sustainability seriously investing in new systems.

    -clean-quiet locality-nice historic building, I felt like living in a castle-awesome breakfast-comfort beds-huge garden around the place

-harder to find-hard to reach landlord, but when you find him he is very polite and friendly-water in pipes is very mineralized and smells slightly like mineral water

    8PauliusPosted on: 8-6-2023

Quite unique place. At first it looked like it is in the middle of nowhere, but the next day we found amazing bird watch tower only a minute ride away, which has fantastic views. The place itself isn't very posh and fancy, but it's clean and had everything we needed.

Wifi wasn't working, even cellular was not available inside.

    9NinaPosted on: 7-23-2023

Very nice cozy place in the middle of "nothing" ? it was a small walk to the coast and a nice bird watching tower. The staff was nice, the room was alright, and everything went very smoothly.

Some of the renovation choices could've been better (like a small threshold in the shower), and the sewer smelt a bit in the room, but otherwise no complaints.:)

Lovely well renovated manor with cozy atmosphere! Very good value for money .Celebrated our anniversary there and would loved to stay longer..

    6MadalinaPosted on: 6-7-2023

The atmosphere was nice - very quiet, in the middle of nowhere with plenty of birds around. The rooms and sheets were clean. Breakfast was nice also.

I wouldn't call it a hotel....is more like a guest house. Also, Im not sure if we actually see the person(s) taking care of this property....maybe this is normal in that area. Also the water had a very strange smell (I couldn't wash my mouth with it)

    8JeroenPosted on: 5-27-2023

The environment, the vety flexible staff (owner) and the quality of the home made food and breakfasr. Small apartment had all you could wish. Didnot missed a TV set but that was not available

The bed had a topper and no fitted sheet so ended up in real mess every morning, bathroom was very small

    4JubiethecatPosted on: 5-2-2023

Homemade dinner was good local Estonian, but baked/fried herring was the only protein available. Side dishes were great. Couple was fairly friendly, gave a good example of Estonian hospitality.Room was big, comfortable private with a nice view.Breakfast had a good selection of foods to offer. Great location for birdwatching.

Internet poor.Beds too soft.Bathroom was small. Very tiny sink in one of our rooms and just a shower stall. ONLY COLD  water in the morning to shower with!!!There was Running, jumping, thumping, tumbling upstairs above room #7 all evening until 10pm - not sure if was kids or what?

    10VitaPosted on: 8-13-2022

The cosy atmosphere and kind host!! The place is real manor house- interior, well acquiped, with luxurious and tasty breakfast! And above all the countryside peace, silence- only birds and grasshoppers singing, and very early "alarm clock"- the local property and neighbour's roosters???

    nothing to mention here

    9AndrisPosted on: 8-5-2022

Location close to the birdwatching tower, garden, pickled cucumbers and perfect eggs for breakfast.

Room right next to the breakfast place.

    8KęstutisPosted on: 8-5-2022

there is no sea by the hotel, no seaside, no beach, no where to swim on the sea.
