unusual silent place in the heart of Slovakia far from the noisy life, beautiful castle with nice swimming pool and sauna, beautiful interior, clean rooms, nice staff

more vegan or vegetarian options can attract people preffering healthy diets, during our stay there was a group of young athletes, who were shouting in the swimming pool, no one was there from hotel staff to calm them down

Lovely renovated old castle - property is very well maintained. We enjoyed a spacious deluxe room on the first floor (second floor in US) with A/C and high ceilings. Front desk staff were great - very helpful! We enjoyed eating two dinners at the property with excellent food, drink and service! Fabulous buffet breakfast! Free parking right outside.

The room was realy nice, clean, big and specious. Thoughtful touches of the cleaning team with extra attention for the children. The shared facilities in the hotel (like the main hall) were clean and well-maintained. The area outside the hotel was nice, had a nice walk around the hotel. The best part of the stay was the the wellness -- swimming pool , jacuzzi and dry sauna were plesant and well maintained.

# Weak wifi signal in the rooms- most of the time we did not have wifi connection# Smart TV did not work and hotel's stuff did not know how to fix it. # They offer bicycle rental, but without an option for a child seat or e-bike for the older child... said that nobody ever asked for it...# While the hotel team fulfilled their basic duties and responded when approched, there was a little sense of genuine hospitality or effort to make us feel welcome. # Breakfast -- basic and generally okay, but does not live up to the expections, set by the hotel's descripition. Not enough variability, almost no fresh vegtebles and fruit.

The room was so spacious and clean well it was like apartment huge room, living room big bathroom. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna area was amazing. Had a back massage, was so good never had that good massage before. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast plenty choice, chia+mango pudding was like heaven. Strongly recommend to visit.

Only thing didn’t like that only was bath and no shower.

Historic building is amazing. Very clean and cozy. The restaurant is highly recommended. The spa zone is good although it seems to be bigger on the photos. We enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Nice castle hotel with wellness possibilities. The historic building has been beautifully renovated and the castle park has also been tidied up. We had a nice walk in the romantic park. The staff is really professional and very kind.

This is a beautifully restored historic castle. Simply stunning. The rooms are stylish, spacious and comfortable. There is something to explore in every corner: furniture, artwork, old photographs etc. The spa suite is very relaxing and beautifully decorated. Food is excellent.

A fairytale castle with a beautiful park. Cold prosecco was served during check-in.We had a delicious dinner in the wonderful hall.Breakfast was fantastic with a huge selection (both hot and cold).The room was comfortable and spacious, nicely furnished. There was free mineral water and chocolate.The staff was very kind and helpful.Parking was free.

Galicia Nueva Castle Hotel is an absolute gem! The stunning historic setting, luxurious accommodations, and impeccable service create a truly unforgettable experience. The beautiful castle grounds and charming interiors make it feel like stepping into a fairytale. Highly recommended for a relaxing and unique getaway!

The breakfast was just perfect. Salmon, pastries, and great coffee. The cleanliness of the room, restaurant, wellness area is just otherworldly. The castle itself is gorgeous. The staff is very kind and polite. The castle gardens and the pond are a great place to spend time.

Maybe a bigger cup or glass for lattes would have been nice. And just a suggestion: the bows for the archery opportunity do not match the quality of the rest of the experience. I suggest some traditional bows from Lajos Kassai, Grózer, or some other maker.

Everything, staff super friendly, castle impressive

It was too hot in the room

I was offered an upgrade before arrival to a suite. It was a glorious apartment with original ceiling painting and very comfortable living space. Great bed, bathroom you could get lost in with a double spa bath. It was very peaceful and we would certainly wish to return. The spa area is very relaxing. And we enjoyed walking in the park area.

Absolutely nothing. Mainly didn’t enjoy that we had to leave. But all inhabitants of historical castles get usurped one way or another eventually I suppose.

The castle with its surroundings was a sight to be seen, a very atmospheric and memorable place. Inside it was clean and the room was spacy. We had a two storey tower room, and there were views to four directions through the windows. The staff was friendly. The restaurant's food was great. The breakfast was good but not the vastest of selection.

Only minor gripe was that in the bathroom there was only a bathtub with no shower curtain, so it was a little difficult to take a shower without the bathroom getting wet.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, great food. Possibility to swim in the pool or get the massage ?

I would expect more from the staff in the hotel like this.

To stay in the hotel made us feel like a royal family. The location of the castle is fantastic. Quietness and peace. Our granddaughter enjoyed it the most. A mug of hot chocolate was served to her every morning by a pleasant waitress. The wellness area is a great spot. We will come back again soon.

The beds were broad and long enough, but mattress was a little bit too firm for our taste. But we slept well.

Its an absolute dream. Every little detail in this hotel is taken care off, which makes you feel really pampared. I particularly loved our deluxe room and the wellness area. I would even recommend just to drive here for a weekend getaway and not going out of the hotel at all to fully enjoy it.

Very fancy castle hotel with great wellness facilities. The castle is huge with rooms in various styles (and quite eclectic decor - some of the "paintings" are interesting). The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfy. We particulartly enjoyed the Pipe Room. There are many other castles and sights to see in the area, it's ideal if you want to treat yourself to a 4-star treatment while on a road trip.
