Il Chiostro del Carmine is a restored 14th-century monastery, with great views of the countryside. It is less than 10 minutes' walk from Piazza del Campo. Rooms at Il Chiostro are large and bright. They have free Wi-Fi, a TV and antiques. You can sit out in the quiet courtyard at the Chiostro. Croissants, cakes and Italian coffee are provided free of charge for breakfast and served in a characteristic Tuscan cellar. You can easily visit Siena on foot from the Chiostro del Carmine. There is a historic church next door.

- The staff is excellent- professional, courteous, friendly, extremely helpful! Location- Absolutely perfect. Away from the crowds but a quick walk to all major sites. The room-clean and spacious. The Courtyard ¿ beautiful, quiet space. Breakfast.
Cons -
- Bed was a little bit too firm for our taste. But this did not hinder our high opinion and strong recommendation for Chiostro del Carmine.
