- Where to begin! This place is magical. The staff treat you like family and it's more like staying at a family home than a hotel. The pool was so refreshing. The food was so delicious and authentic. This is more than a family owned businesses, you can tell they pour their heart and soul into it. There are also lots of free roaming animals, alpaca, sheep, geese, chickens, birds,rabbits cats and dogs. Also saw behind the fences ostrich and peacocks. Highly recommend a stay here. Bed was comfortable and all the amenities you need.

From arriving at the gate To leaving next day Florentina and her Husband made us feel at home , warm helpful and the Surroundings are idyllic for some one like me who loves domestic and non domestic animals the place if full of rescued animals that enjoy a wonderful life roaming the extensive grounds The Alpacas area joy to watch and so friendly, The pool was a great place to unwind after our long drive , and the views are to die for a shame i was only there for a day i could have stayed for weeks

This was one of the highlights of our 4 week trip. A lovely and very friendly couple with an incredible sense of hospitality. We felt very pampered and loved the location, the beautiful pool and the lovely atmosphere. The breakfast and dinner meals were all so good. We loved visiting with Florantina and give her an excellent recommendation.

Amazing resort with even more amazing owners in a perfect location. Our room was cozy, super clean, comfortable, well decorated with a wonderful view. Beyond the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service we received in the in-house restaurant. Would definitely recommend it to everyone. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. We look forward to visiting La Castellaia Resort again. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful resort in the Mountain with spectacular views!! The owners are very pleasant and exceeded my expectations. Beautiful and very clean rooms with gorgeous views. Spacious and quiet. Very clean and sanitized very well. They practice social distancing while dinning and make sure that your taken care of during the stay.
Fantastic welcoming hosts who go out of their way to make your stay as welcoming as possible.
