- Pool was advertised at time of booking but not available. Hotel does not have pool even though it was shown in the pictures and description said it is available till September. All I got were evasive answers. TV was microscopic in size and some channels kept freezing up.There was nobody in the reception in the afternoon or in the morning for checkout.Restaurant prices on the higher side.

Exceeded our expectation. For 3 stars it offered 4,5 star accommodation and BREAKFAST!!!The room had a magic view of the mountains, was top-notch clean, with lovely comfy duvets and big soft pillows.Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this great value for money hotel if you just want to have a great time hiking in a lovely village with great restaurants.
The staff was very nice, the room was clean and spacious enough for two. The statue of Janošík is in the frontof the hotel, all the interesting places of Terchová were very close. Worth its price. We have enjoined our stay very much.
The Gold Hotel has a very good localisation with a nice view on the mountains and the sculpture of Janosik. Hotel's staff is very polite and helpful. There is comfortable parking. Close to the hotel are some restaurants, bars and shop.My family and our dog are happy with stay at Gold Hotel.
