large rooms, clean, modern furniture, parking behind the building. Owners look after you. Not far from attractions - chocolate factory, castles, etc

restaurant is hit and miss. We had dinner once and can’t say I was impressed. Breakfast on the other hand has good variety and you can even ask for eggs cooked the way you like.

Very nice and friendly staff, very flexible and helpful when we needed to solve our late check-in due to a few hours delay. Available late in the late evening hours to help solve a problem we faced. At all times available and helpful. The place as described, nicely furnished, very clean. Very good breakfast. Overall a great experience and I can definitely recommend it.

I had a problem with wi-fi in a room, check in- i felt little bit lost because reception did not work on saturday late afternoon. I had three different phone numbers to call first but after i contacted the owner, he came after few minutes.

The hotel had very friendly staff, whole hotel is very clean and cozy. Room was huge, beds were comfy, free parking was excellent and breakfast was top notch! I can't recommend this hotel enough, we loved it!

Great personel and location. The place is very clean and as per the reviews - has very good food.

As I am used to sleep on harder mattresses the one in the hotel was too soft for me, but this is a personal opinion.

Charming town. Reception had prepared the paperwork for our arrival, clever, saves time at checkin.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable, as was the bathroom. The beds and pillows were excellent. The location in was practical for visiting the area (Riegersburg, Zotter, Gölles, as well as nearby spas. The covered parking was convenient. The buffet breakfast was tasty and had good variety and the service was friendly.

The wall to the adjacent room was quite thin and we could hear voices from our neighbors. The church bells in the morning were extremely loud (though this is surely a problem in any hotel in this town). We visited on a holiday weekend and the breakfast rooms (and buffet) were extremely crowded when we came to breakfast in the morning. It was a bit chaotic because it was so full, but we did find the one last empty table. It would be nice to have reserved tables for the hotel guests – or perhaps a separate, calmer room for hotel guests (clearly locals also like to come for breakfast and there were lots of large groups on the days were there).

Quality, modern, contemporary accommodation with good facilities (when open!). Coffee facilities in room.Proprietor provided covered area for my motorcycle.

I arrived to find that Thursday is their day off and the bar and restaurant are closed. No big deal - plenty of other places to eat and drink nearby.

Great location, friendly staff, large spacious room, and then the cons

I booked a room for a family of two and a child, but in fact there was one pillow, one small blanket and no one else brought an extra set. The three of us slept all night under one small blanket - it was terrible and on one pillow. To drink tea, there was no kettle in the room, there was no refrigerator, there were no slippers, no bathrobe, nothing. The room was completely empty. And also there was only one chair for a family of two people and a child, and I had to drink tea from a thermos accidentally brought with me - one sat on a chair, the rest on the floor. There was not even a bottle of water in the room. In the corner there was a lamp that they tried to turn on, and the switch immediately fell apart and the dangerous electric wires were exposed. The rooms have tiled floors which is very uncomfortable and there was not a single carpet anywhere.

We arrived after check in hours, but we were welcomed without any surprises, thank you. The restaurant was closed, but still offered drinks and snacks. The hotel is located on a narrow street in the old town.

Half self service in breakfast, if you are in hurry it taking time to have breakfast.

Late check-in possible. Comfortable and cozy.
