Pros +
- Nice, clean and quiet place
- It was a quaint, quiet and clean hotel overall.
- I think the hotel is the best you can find in the region. The room is small but nice, the hosts are friendly and the breakfast has everything for all tastes.
Cons -
- Restaurant closes at 9pm
- The bathroom had NO window at all and the only window in the bedroom was a velux window which didn't stay open and there was no way of opening the blind on this window either. For one night it was just about acceptable but for any longer it wouldn't be possible. Natural Light and fresh hair is needed every day!It was also extremely disappointing that nobody at all spoke English. When I first arrived there was some sort of problem and the receptionist left me 15 minutes waiting at check-in after having said something in her own language. I think she couldn't find my booking which had been confirmed by friends of mine who had already arrived earlier that day. In the end, she couldn't find my booking and had to ask me to write out all my details on a seperate piece of paper. There is no lift, only stairs so if you are unable to go up two fairly sleep stairs then you need to ring ahead to see if there are ground floor bedrooms. We also had dinner at the hotel that night. We had to wait over an hour to be served yet the restaurant was not full. Bread was put in front of us in a basket as it is done in every restaurant in the world BUT BEWARE, if you eat the bread you MUST pay extra for this!!!!!! Incredible!!!! This is NOT explained when this bread is put in front of you. Obviously the children at the table ate the bread having had to wait over an hour for a main course. The breakfast is basic. Nothing special but ok.
- I had a small problem with the bed: the mattress is very low so I hit my leg on the wooden frame of the bed almost every time I sat down.

Lovely staff and nice tidy rooms. Very clean and good condition of the room. Good food in the restaurant and very cozy yard to sit and eat. Parking was close and free. Breakfast was great!
Great Central Village location, comfortable clean great for one night. A wonderful garden restaurant for sitting out food was great.Very helpful staff polite couldn’t do enough for you
Bit dated, but other than that, nothing to complain about
Calm and nice. Good breakfast
Restaurant was closed on a day of arrival but we heard that the food was great. Hope to eat dinner there next time
Great location in the centre of town. I stayed in the guesthouse which is a separate block to the main restaurant etc and it was very peaceful. Andorf is a very nice place with a short walk to the train station for onward connections and there are lots of shops and restaurants, and vending machines in the street for out of hours purchases.
The bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant and a playground next to it for the kids. This was very convenient for us.

No fridge and AC in a room
Accomodation allright. Nothing fancy. Did the job.
Was loud music and people shouting and laughing in the garden where people took diner. Too close to our roomwindow. Was annoying and not relaxing.
The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the building was old but very well maintained, and generally very beautiful.
The hotel was nice decorated, nice and large garden/terrace, small playground for kids
The bathroom are fitted inside the room from wood boards and all the smell and shower it's coming in the room and you can hear all noises from toilet flush, shower.
