This was a great place to stay. I got a nice balcony with view to Donau. Very friendly people working there too and a great brekfast. Highly recommended!

Jacob at the front desk was friendly, my room was bright, with a lovely balcony looking out across a field to the Danube. Secure bike storage was perfect.

Very friendly greeting, making us feel very comfortable, even presenting us with a "welcome box" for our dog.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like.

The room was large with a nice balcony with Danube view. Quiet area and very welcoming hosts. Great homemade jam at breakfast. Good restaurant on the premises.

We were very happy with the staff, they were welcoming, very friendly and understanding with our dogs.

Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. It was a shame that the restaurant was closed on Thursdays.

Very pleasant place. The family is also keeping a restaurant there, so that you can get good beer and a dinner if you come in the evening. The menue is typical Bavarian and tasty. I was there in February and it was very quiet, for a good rest.

Breakfast is traditional, i.e. bread, butter, jam, cheese. You have to ask for eggs. No fruit, no vegetables, no cereals, no yoghurt.Room was clean, as well as a fully rennovated bath. However, the liquid soap machine in the shower was out of order.Pillows were too soft for my taste, but the bed was perfect.

Beautiful place next to the Danube river.Kindly personnel.

The room I got, was cold because not heated up before my arrival.Breakfast a bit poorly (not buffet), but one time is okay.

Our stay at Gastfof Hotel zur Post was very good. The owners are jovial and welcoming.The breakfast is delicious and the morning coffee went to our hearts.We will definitely be back.

We arrived in the afternoon to find the front entrance locked [the one in the pictures] ! We eventually found the other entrance around the side but really struggled with the member of staff on reception. Even though it says they speak both German & English, the elderly man couldn't speak a word of English & kept on poking my sister which was not very nice as he tried to explain how to check in!!! We managed in the end but he wasn't very friendly!! Nice big bedroom, clean with en-suite bathroom & a lovely balcony with a view of the surrounding countryside & Danube River

We unpacked & then came back down to go & have a drink in the bar & then order food in the on-site restaurant.........only to discover both were closed as it's "Thursday" .........which was supposed to mean something to us apparently!!!!!!!!!! No where does it state that they are closed on Thursdays & I certainly wouldn't have booked as we had been driving all day & just wanted to relax with a drink & meal on site without having to drive anywhere else!!!!!!

The coffee at breakfast was so good. We were on a two week vacation with 9 different hotels and this was THE best coffee. Great location right by the river.The room had a nice size as well as the bathroom. It wasn't too hot either even without AC. Comfy beds. Very friendly staff which were so nice to us and our daughter.We got some goodies for our dog which was so friendly (never got that anywhere else before). Loved that.

Staff is friendly. Nice location with restaurant.12 km's from centre of Passau. Bicycle rental is having. Nice and big river called Dunau

NO AIR-CONDITION! Inside of the room was 27 degrees. No fridge in the room. Very weak wifi. Really poor facilities. The third bed ? was not comfortable at least horrible.

The stay, the hospitality and the food. All was good and really appreciated.The location was very comfortable and the rooms were clean. Everything was perfect except.. the shower.

The bathroom (the shower) was covered in black mold on all corners and sides of the shower screens. It is a serious health hazard and a breathing risk for breathing patients, older people and children. We did not use the shower.

Great location, good size room, food very good in the hotel.

It was unusually hot, the room would have benefitted from a fan.

The view is nice and the room is spacious

Breakfast is great and the location of hotel is impressive. And parking for motorcycle is great.

For my taste beds are too soft.

Great bar/restaurant. Comfortable beds. Great views.
