Friendly, quaint, good food and wildlife!

We choose this place for annual reconnection between friends, with several families arriving and it was handled with love and care. As the group, they made nice arrangements for us on breakfast and dinner, recommended where to go in nearby, and we truly felt welcome.

Breakfast shall be improved - both in variety and amounts, as it was running short of food too early and too fast.

The place with great price / value ratio. Excellent customer centric service, nice dinner options and service through. Easy to walk outside and explore, wonderful small garden and terrace. Rooms are relatively small, but well equipped and modern.

the restaurant serves great food, even though they were understaffed and we waited for a long time it was very tasty, the hotel is very clean. location nice and close to hiking trails, parking easy, I love the fact they have proper blackout curtains and recently renovated, it was good for one night

the mattress was really bad - super soft and gave us sore back, breakfast was ok but I hoped for much more, like a piece of cake or croissant - anything sweet to finish the meal, also eggs were not "soft" boil. they were raw. the room is pretty but the use of space was horrible (we did have a small room so bathroom was super small - no problem that is what we booked but if hotel paid designer to arrange the space they have wasted money) it was hard to turn around, lots of space wasted .

Great newly refurbished place in Bavarian forest. We came as a group of 11 ppl including small kids and they managed all of us very smoothly. Rooms are spacious enough, with great balconies, modern and clean. Dinner was good experience in both evenings, with high variety of dishes and attentive staff. We even got to talk to the owners and learn how they pursued this business - an inspirational story!

The breakfast could be better - more variety and more refill. If you come down "late" (aka 9:30) there was little what to eat and the refill was only very partial. I understand that no food waste shall be created - but then offer please a la carte options if guests are coming after the main wave..

The hotel has only few rooms available for dogs (apparently for allergenic reasons). The lady in the reception said we should let her know in advance that we would bring a dog with us so that she could reserve the appropriate room. We never need to say anything in advance when travelling with pets, so it the hotel has such restriction, it should be mentioned somewhere in the mandatory questions.

One evening they were overwhelmed with dinner guests. Too a very, very long time to be fed
