Pros +

- Location is excellent for us.Staff friendly, and obliging, at breakfast and in reception.Very clean room.Very quiet area and very scenic. The shower is excellent and powerful. The bedding and towels provided were lovely and clean.

Cons -
- the bed was old fashion and not fine on head to enjoy TV
- We did not know that the bar was closed, so nothing available apart from a vending machine. The restaurant was also closed, which we also didn't know about in advance. There were no drinking facilities in the room, a kettle was provided when we asked for one, but wasn't really practical as there wasn't anywhere to keep milk if we purchased it.The corridors are so tired and unwelcoming, it really needs a repaint. The breakfast area had crumbs over the floor and chairs, and remained there on each day.The rooms need a repaint. There isn't any air con but there is a fan in the room.We had no housekeeping from Friday - Monday
