Hotel Weissenstein

We really loved the swimming pool, and the sauna was perfect too. The food was excellent – great breakfast and very tasty dinners, so kudos to the chef! Special thanks to Thomas who was extremely friendly and helpful.

Nothing major, everything was very pleasant.

Thomas is a gem. The pool and sauna great, the meals delicious.

breakfast was very good, good selection to choose from, excellent soft boiled eggs and fresh bread, staff was fantastic, it was great that dinner was not buffet style, we chose what we would like for dinner at breakfast time, there were 3 options, always including vegetarian option, you could also choose smaller serving, very good house wine, all staff spoke also English, beautiful interior everywhere

there was no staff at reception in the afternoon, if you needed something you had to go to the restaurant and there were times when there was only kitchen staff there.There was a large group who did not respect rules in the quiet zone and there was nobody to tell them to behave.There were not enough options to dry your clothes after snowy day of skiing

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were always there and willing to help. Food was very tasty. Also great selection of wines. In comparison to the other hotels in Austrian mountains even the food portions were quite big. Clean and comfy rooms. Swimming pool available. We loved it.

We only had one problem - naked people sitting in sauna without any sheet.. Disgusting.. I understand it is necessary to go to the sauna without swimming suit, but seriously.. Please, give them sheets.

Wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend. 3 different saunas, outdoor heated pool, everything is nice and tidy with very kind personnel. We'll be glad to come back!

We had half board. The food was excellent. the breakfast is rich. The hotel has a SPA and an outdoor heated pool. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly. There is also a heated ski depot outside the building.

Amazing stuff, beautiful hotel, stunning views, amazing wellness center. And it's a HB! - the prices included both breakfast AND dinner. I love the hotel, and I'll be seeking for an opportunity to visit them again.

Hello,I am writing to you regarding my recent stay at Weissenstein hotel in St. Michael im Lungau that I booked via Booking.com for the period March 10th-12th. At the checkout, the hotel staff gave us an invoice that was higher than the price that we have seen on your website and that we received as a booking confirmation (see below). The hotel staff added a cleaning fee of 80 eur. We were surprised to see that as the price quoted in your confirmation email says "including all taxes and charges" and there is no mention of such extra fee. The hotel staff said they would not charge the fee for now, but would complain to you.We believe that if the prices mentioned states "including all taxes and charges" and there is no mention of a possibility of a cleaning fee being charged, there should be no such surprises at the checkout.Best regards,Iztok Kocevar

There was not one bad thing about this accommodation. The staff was exceptionally thoughtful and friendly. The food was delicious with various options to choose from. Hotel facilities were excellent - especially the wellness centre - and everything was clean and modern. The location was also great, with many ski resorts close by and accessible by a ski bus, which stops in front of the hotel. Cannot recommend this enough.

There was honestly nothing we didn't enjoy.

Spaceud, clean, good location, nice host, great spa, app was comportable.

This is a cosy and welcoming family-run hotel, perfect for a skiing holiday. Some 5-7 minutes walking distance from the gondola and also close to the center of the village. It is very clean, the rooms are mostly renovated and the hosts are very kind. The ski room is well equipped, with boot warmers and ski holders.

The new part of the hotel with its wonderful wellness area. 3 saunas, swim to outside from inside pool, fitness area and wonderful rest areas. fantastic.

some parts of the hotel are old fashioned but cheaper but will be updated gradually I guess.

We spent in that hotel just one night, while travelling back to Germany. Nice location with a great view. Very helpful and friendly staff.

It was a little irritating to have the toilet separated from the bathroom, however they were both in great condition and super clean, so for a night not really an issue.

Beautiful and quiet place, with a view on the mountains. Peculiar village - UNESCO heritage! Very friendly owners. We had a nice comfortable stay in a family room: clean, atmospheric and spacious. Definitely recommend to visit.

The facility and rooms are very good. The personal is very good.

The check out time is 10.30 am.There is no possibility to swim in swimming pool in the morning.

I liked everything, and the staff was really nice. We even get an updrade for a room, for free. And their wellness! Really very very nice!
